This number is one of the numbers that has been provided in a fraudulent collection letter from a person posing as a representative of International Organization for Migration, demanding payment for a non-existent loan supposedly taken over ten years ago, and requesting personal information from an addressee. The address on the letter is 2 Executive Circle, Suite 240, Irvine, California, 92614-6778 If you receive phone calls from this number or mail where the number is provided, do not respond to it and do not provide this person with any personal information such as your address, social security number and so on. This is a fraud.  

Real International Organization for Migration does not have an office in California. The fraudulent mail demands the check to be payable to "IOM", which can stand for anything.

Beware of the attempts to collect non-existent loans and obtain your personal information.

-Their mail doesn't have the IOM icon. It's just a plain store bought mail

-They answer with,"Hello". The real Organization answers with a voice machine, and it takes long steps just to reach customer service

-They have no online website, and can't pay online (The real IOM has a website). They demand you pay by mail only

-They accept no credit & debit. They only accept money order and Checks

-Same guy answers everytime with "hello", then he instantly ask for your "Case Number"

-Guy sounds very Hindu, Asian, or Nigerian

-Lady once answered, and just kept asking, "Hello.....hello"

I know many Hmong families who are already paying these crooks. I am doing my best to inform everyone, and will try to report this to authorities. I hope these crooks get caught. Please spread the word.

I got a letter to my address in my dad's name? I am confused how they found that. Where do they get their information from?

I sendy 230.00 money order  on 6/6/2017 i need sure its came to u ?

I also received a letter just like you guy to pay for travel loans and it came under my name. It true I have to pay for travel loan because I move here from oversea but when I moved here, I am under 18 so it should come under my parent name. Another thing is my parent currently pay for the travel loan which is moving here from oversea with no IOM logo. I don't know if I should pay this or not.
