Same modus operandi as all the others - daily call, unknown number, no message, nothing. Blocked now and forever...

A woman just called my workplace from this number and asked for the owner of the business. When I told her she wasn't here she asked when she will be. I explained that she rarely comes in but call twice a day for messages. I told her if she would give me a detailed message I would give the message to the business owner when she calls in or comes. She said she was with AT&T long distance provider. When I tried to clarify she hung up. She must want to get us to change over because other sites say this number is MCI.

She said her name is Miss Newman

I have received two calls from this number today and both calls resulted in a dead call. Not sure what they want but wish they'd stop calling.

This number has called me several times a day for about a month. Today I told them that they could speak to me about the "billing issue" with my family's business for AT&T. When they got to the meat of the call they stated that I would now get a bill from Prefered(?). When I told him that I would have to speak to the owners he got an attitude and when I stated 3 times to take us off the call list he blantally told me "No", then dropped the call. This concerns me, about my current account with AT&T and I want to know how to insure that this company stops calling. Also is there anything I can do about harassment if they continue to call.

Getting calls every week.  Caller states that they need to speak to someone about a "billing issue"  with our AT&T account.  When asked point blank if they are with AT&T, after the third time caller says they are the largest representative of AT&T wanting to save me money.  RIGHT!  I just hang up - wish I could block them or blast an air horn in their ear.  Maybe I'll just put them on hold next time & forget about them.  Big waste of time!  What good is registering for the DO NOT CALL list?  Big scam!

Continual calls with no voice. Then hangs up on me.

Who are these guys.... they've called on numerous occasions .  The last one again asked for the business owner and then proceed to tell me its a regarding a billing issue with AT&T insinuating the bill hadn't been paid.  I asked him what billing issue and of course got the "your getting a rate reduction", unbelievably deceptive.  

Oh my word he go an ear full, I told him to  go f---- himself and if he called me again I would file a complaint with the BBB and the trade commission... idiot!  I hung up as he was responding.   At&T needs to file a complaint since this company is going after their  customers with the pretext that they work for AT&T.  That's just outrages! what I want to know is why they keep doing it? It must work on some people and that's just sad.  Who would change carriers with a company that uses fraud to get you to hear their sales pitch.  Well I will be filing a complaint with the trade and commission and notifying AT&T of these guys.  They called the wrong number!

Received a call saying they were AT&T. Upon further questioning they were not, discontinued the call. Said they could cut my phone bill in half.

Most of the time there is seemingly no one on the calling end. This time it was a young man with a "hey dude" persona. He wanted to offer me a free website. I told him he was calling my cell phone and has been for some time.
He said "Aww, man, that's sucks bra."
That's when I searched around and found this is not going to stop.
The call comes from CA. I also get them from other states. NV, OR, SD

You can file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission or your Attorney General's Office.

Every day! Same thing but now they are getting rude!

Just got a call from this number at a business in Wisconsin.  The person claimed to be calling about our AT&T billing, asking for the person in charge of it.  We told them "The person who handles the billing is not here.  Please give me your name and phone so they can call you back."

They refused to give any information, which made it pretty obvious this was not AT&T.  Called the number back on a different line.  Got the same "That is not a recognized number" message as other people reported.

Report already filed with FCC.  Call already placed to AT&T to report the impersonation.

Any word from the FTC on this?  They blow up my phone daily but never answer.

Got a call stating that you owed a telephone bill. Told them they had the wrong number and person.  Called my telephone provider to report the call

This number calls me every other day saying they are with the crime prevention team and want to install a home alarm system. Sounds like a kid reading a script and just phishing for credit card numbers.

I received a call from this number as well claiming to be an ATT representative and requesting to speak to manager in charge because of billing issues. When I asked to take a message, they hung up on me.

Calls identifying himself as calling about my At&t billing issue....Do not have a landline and do no have At&t, Phone number goes back to Preferred Long Distance.  This is a scam telemarketer trying to catch someone off their game, so they can switch you and charge you!!!!!
