Lady called in Spanish asking (then demanding) my name saying she was a social worker and wanted to offer a package so I could learn English.....once I spoke english she said I shouldn't be ashamed of my roots, (so being bilingual is shameful....what?) As far as I know social workers aren't telemarketers....

I got the same kind of call.  Someone obviously misrepresenting herself as a "social worker" probably trying to sell something.  As soon as she found out I already knew how to speak "English," she hung up.  The background noises indicated a high probability the woman was calling from a telemarketer's boiler room.

A very bossy lady called me ans demanded my name, all this in spanish, she also said she was a social worker fron the county of San bernardino when I hung the phonecall she call me back ans left a message telling me that I was rude :O

This so called "Social Worker" is still at it. Today she called stating she was a social worker and offering packages such as Learning English, Mechanic, etc. Told her I couldn't talk because I was at work and she asked what was the best time to call again...I gave her a time for which she was punctual to call again but I did not answer. Does anyone know what could be done about these type of calls which might be fraudalent?
