This number was a number that I recieved from a previously reported #415-742-7911 which is a scammer #. I called this number and once again another heavy accent claiming to be with the Department of Legislation which he says is a part of the judicial system. These two numbers are connected and part of the scamming stuff that is becoming such an annoying part of our regular days. The name that I got was a Mark Hunter... I am in the process of filing a complaint on this with the FBI.

I too have been receiving calls from this number multiple times a day for a wk now.  They have a super heavy, barely understandable accent from India, claiming that I owe money to a payday loan.  I have a loan out currently, however, my bank acct and all info is correct and still in use.  No payment skipped.  They claim that I owe $482, which is more than what the original loan was for and they could not tell me the exact charges/fees.  They claimed I have to send in all kinds of CC info and a pic of my DL to the Superior Courthouse of California, Attn: Dexter Frogg, referencing a Jim Hunter at the Federal Bureau of Legislation Office.  Then I have to fax it to a 206 area code which isn't even related to the Courthouse, it a Washington area code.  I called my payday loan and they stated that everything was fine and to disregard what they had to say.  When he leaves messages, he says "god bless you and your family bc I don't know what's going to happen to you after we release your case to the courthouse."  I am glad that I looked into all of this.  BIG TIME SCAM!!!!

I to have been getting ph calls from 415-742-7911 to call this number. They are telling me that i have a payday loan and that i owe 800 and some dollars and if it isn't taken care of i will be arrested. You can't understand a word they are saying. I have a loan but it is $150.00 and not due till 2/11/2011.

i got this call from 1-951-286-4942 saying that i have three outstanding charges his name was peter  and he sounded like he was from another country he said he has my social security number and when he told me it it was wrong and when i told him about it and he hung up on me when he called me he said he was from the california federal bureau and that my loan was from some company named cashconnectnetwork.com and when i looked into it there was no information on either one when i looked up the phone number he called me from thats when i found out that it was fraud

I received a threatening call from this number.  Man has very heavy accent.  The message was to the extent of being scary.   He said if I didnt call or my attorney didnt call I would forever regret it.

I got a call cfrom this number and I called back and asked a company name. He gave me an sts I asked what this meant and he zsent me to a supervisor. The supervisor starting cursing at me telling me that I have no right to ask them any questions. It is a terrible scam and they are very rude. I have filed a complaint!

I recieve this call and once again it is a heavy accent. He even says if I don't return the call may God help me. So who do I contact to stop these calls? I live in NC.

We just received call from the same number.  I work for the Dept. of Justice and can tell you where to go and what to do.  He is just fishing for your information at this point and even if he has your SSN there is nothing he can do with it. . . file a complaint @ www.IC3.gov  you go to the website and on the bottom left side is a link to file a complaint.  You may also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and they can be contacted via the web @ www.ftc.gov . . . good luck to anyone who receives these calls because this man can be very agressive and intimidating.  Luckily there are some of us out there who know what to look for.  BTW. . . the phone number he called is a VA cell phone.

A couple months ago I did try to get a payday loan, but I never actually went through with it. I do not owe any payday loans. GOD help him if he calls me again.
