I have received five calls today from 4 different numbers. 818-337-2252, 971-220-1894 a private number and this one. None left messages in my machine.  I finally answered and it was a woman who asked for Johnny something. I am certain these calls are originating from the same place. I have looked them all up and each one has at least one comment about a company called "Search for Degrees" trying to enroll in "higher education". Since this call came from my local area code, I believe they are switching originating numbers, trying to verify whether someone is home or at this number and just not answering the phone. A few days ago I completed a continuing education course online and there was a survey by the sponsor (one of those online education programs) at the end, I believe that's where they got my number. There was a box asking if I wanted to be contacted about continuing education programs and I clicked no, but evidently it doesn't matter!

I keep getting phone calls from this number as well. It started about two weeks ago and I get a call from them at the very least once a day! I also get random calls from phone numbers from Oregon and Utah. This is getting very annoying. I have no idea how they got my phone number but with on average 3-5 calls a day and it's all spam calls I feel violated and feel I'm being harassed. I don't want to have to change my number but with all of these harassing phone calls on a daily basis I'm just tired of it. To all the tekemarkers that call people they don't know and harass them constantly; Go take a long walk off a short cliff. You are a useless human being and bring nothing but upset and irritation to the average Joe that works his butt off to make enough money to live and pay to keep his cellphone on, only to be called and harassed by you jerks. I've asked on several occasions to be taken off of the call lists only to get another call a few hours later. There should be laws against these spam phone calls so that people like me don't have to screen every single phone call I get that I don't know the number to. I'm tired of it and wish I had a case (if I don't already) so I could sue the hell outta these companies that make a profit off of harassing good people like me.
