Received a message from this number, from some foreign guy, stating that I or my lawyer had to contact him ASAP. I don't take kindly to being threaten, and if you can't leave a company name or a discription you want hear from me.

I recieve the same call. A foreign guy said I needed to contact an attorney named damon marshall.I asked why and he couldn't tell me.

Recieved the same call today< was very rude on my answering machine, this guy called my job. i answered the phone and he said the same thing to me, what the hell is this? Also gave me this name.

This is a total scam...A former employee of mine recieved these calls several years ago and we uncovered some horror stories when we researched the number. Unfortunately, they have started to call me this week. These companies access your credit report and try to collect charge off debts usually associated with pay day loans... DO NOT PAY THEM.  I've heard of some people giving credit card information to pay the outstanding balances only to find that the money was not applied to the accounts in question.  They often threaten to serve affidavfits and use various vague legal language.  To top it all off, they claim to be part of some legal investigation group based in the US but almost always have extremely strong Indian or Pakistani accents.  Which makes me laugh when they say their name is John Smith or Michael Davis.  Riiiight.  They tend to operate from one number for a while then have the line cancelled within a month

A call was made to the place where I work stating that it was from the state attorney general's office and that I needed to call right away about a serious legal matter. The number that I was to call was 951-468-5357.

Yeah, I got the same call today, except he said some one was pressing charges against me, and when I told him there wasnt, he hung up on me and you can never get back through to the number.

I have been getting phone calls from om forginer She tells me that I   need to call this same number talk with someone with the name Marshall. Says there are charges pending against my Social security .She said he is with the state attorneys office that I need to call right away. When I asked her if I call information for the state attorneys in califorinia, she hangs up.

I have received multiple calls from two phone numbers 957-468-5357 and 202-600-4531 saying the same things everyone else has reported. I don't know if he forgot he called me from the 202 number already because he used the same name (Mike Johnson) even after my fiance had told him we knew it was all fake and some kind of scam. Do yourself a favor and block both numbers.

This #-951-468-5357  has been calling my home, also calling me at work and hurassing me. They have put false imformation on my credit report, plus they tell me they are from the States Attorneys Office. Can you help me with these people? IThey tell  me too pay them money for something  i owe for. I have had several calls from this phone number. .

My husband and I got the same message they called his work and our house so I immediatly called back.. somehow the number that shows up on calller id and that they give you to call back is for a real estate agent. I talked to the lady and she had no clue what I was talking about and even said that they don't have anyone that works their with the names that were left for us to call them back on. I couldn't even understand the voicemail cause the guy was foreign and wasn't speaking very clearly. I hope they get caught soon because it is quite frustrating!!

Ive also received the same call and he said his name was leo and he called my job and left a message on my direct line making threats saying if he dont hear from my attorney it all falls on me
!! somebody needs to stop these foreigners from harrassing people!!!

951-468-5357 Called me twice regarding two separate employees. Both employees are contract workers and we have NO information or ties relating them to my company. Same story as all others, but I decided to dig a little deeper! His name was Amen Watson. He was calling from the "State Attorney office of CA". It was in regards to a SSN "concern". Total BOGUS.

I received a phone call on both my cellular phone and at work. When i said I cant take persona,l calls at work as i am the receptionist for a nationwide company and hung up...he had the nerve to call me back at work a moment later! he was threatening and freaked me out at first. i had a emergency and took out a few payday loans and am now paying them back. i was told that these loans are how these scum suckers gt our number and then they threatedn you with legal action that they dont have. do not pay them. i called back 4 times before i found out they were a fake and not once did anyone answer.

I got same cals from Michael Johnson he left message on my machine and the number is 951-468-5357  stated press charge against me and said got my ssn I was puzzled I never gave him my ssn and I do not know who he is. Until I did research and see its california so I research more and read ur story here and I see alot of people are complaining about that number so I decided to reply to you and share with you.. I received the same number and same person name as you received calls from..  What shall I do?  ingore and block that number?

This guy called my cell phone but I hit ignore as I was at work.
Next thing I know he is calling my work # where we screen calls, my coworker says its an
Attorney for me. I answer the call and he's saying some BS about charges being filed against me but won't elaborate further and just said I need to call 951-468-5357 and ask for Damon Marshall. All the while he has a deep foreign accent which makes me think twice about the validity of this but still freaks me out. So i just say Okay ill call and talk to him this is my work # and to never call this # again.

Then not even an hour later, he calls my cell again to ask if I called. so I just said Im at work, havent had a chance and to stop calling me or I will file charges against him for harassment. I was planning on calling the # just to see what happened, but now with reading other experiences......should I just ignore it or what can I do? If this is a scam from payday loans I guess that's how they got my info since I have taken a few out in hard times but I am working on paying them off. Any advice on how to stop these calls? I struggled for over a year to find a good job and will be damned.if some scam is going to cost me my job, hopefully they give up once they realize I'm not falling for thier crap.

I received a call from this 951-468-5357 phone number telling me to call or have my attorney call or i'll be sorry. It was a foreigner as well. What in the world is going on? These scam artist try anything that they can these days. I wonder how they are getting our numbers.

Just rec'd call from this number and was told to call Damon Marshall, an atty  -  as soon as possible.  I called the number - told him I filed bankruptcy and he was nasty telling me "oh yeah...you tell them when they come to arrest you because payday loans are not covered in bankruptcy"  I have checkecked with my lawyer and it is covered.  If you have payday loans or thought of getting payday loans, stop!  In my opinion, they should all be shut down.  I had some payday loans.  I was desperate.  I could not pay them off.  I know this will haunt me for the rest of my life.  I still keep getting calls at work.  In this case, I tried to give my lawyer's name and number and they told me I was the one that had to call this goof ball.  I called because I wanted to get them to stop calling me.  That is when he told me I will be arested....omg will this ever end?
