This number called me at 7:09 am, 10/20/2011, claiming that I was being sued and if I did not respond promptly the suit would be filed in the courthouse and I would be "served"at my home address and/or business.  I do not answer calls at this hour of the morning so this information is on my answering machine.  The disconcerting aspect of this apparent hoax is that the caller had my social security number, phone number, home address, and business name.  The caller represented himself as a senior officer, Alfred (?) Johnson, at the law office of Fenton & Maldinado.  He admonished me to return the call promptly or face the consequences.

I suspected this and checked the internet first - found many complaints about this (and related) numbers.  Not calling back!

I received the same message this morning, that my employer would be notified and I will be in a big legal mess if I dont return this call, he aslo had my social and home address :( non enlglish speaking [***].

On 10/21/2011 I received a call from Gary Hudson (951) 582-4829 and he stated that this was a legal issue and hold the line. Albert Johnson then got on the phone and advise me that he was the attorney involved in this case. He quoted my SSN#, home address and business address and told me that i received a pay day loan (cash advance) and did not pay it back.  He wants to resolve this issue before he issue a warrant for my arrest at my place of work to be served at 12 noon today (10/21/2011). He told me to resolve this issue now and avoid 2 weeks jail time I had to go to walmart and puchase a Walmart money card and don't open it.  Once i receive the card i need to call them and he will tell me what to do from that point.  I must admit I was a little worried at first and thought that someone had did fraud on my SSN # until he asked for repayment of a Walmart Money card.  He told me that he would give me 45 min. to call him back with the Walmart Money card information. At 10:00a.m. Albert called back and asked me for the information and has called me back three times since.  I reported this company to my local police department.

I received the same crazy call. I called the FBI they instructed me to call the FTC. The FTC informed me that it was a scam and to put a fraud alert on my credit report. I have since done so and am working with my lawyers to ensure that nothing further comes of this craziness.

Same exact thing happened to me just now! Told me that I had took out a payday loan and I had to pay it back right now or they were locking me up!

I just received that same phone call.....

They must be on a roll this AM. I have received 4 calls already this AM from adn "Officer Daniel Crawford." He was such a dick initally that I just hung up on hom and decided to google the number. Yep. Scam... geez  951 582-4829 (Corona CA).

We just got that same call. They were laughing in our face and told me they wanted to feel my wet [***] when I asked them their company name. We are going to the police and they will that their number tacked. They will be stopped.!!!!! This is def. fraud!

How the hell did they get our information????

I just received this call from an Officer Williams saying that I would be arrested today on fraud, money laundering, and several other charges. He put his supervisor on the phone and receited my ssn # and address. I was told that I would be arrested on an warrent from the FBI via the Indianapolis Police Department. After arguing with them about the fact that I never took out an loan from Cash4Me.com or Cash4U.com, I hung up the phone and called my local police department, which informed me that this was an scam. Beware of applying for loans online.

I am a police officer in Southern California and have just been contacted by two reporting parties that claim the same thing from this number. I called theguy with the fake name, David Scott, who eventually hung up when I asked the right questions.
PLEASE JUST TELL THE GUY ON THE PHONE, " I'M CALLING THE POLICE. DON;T CALL ME AGAIN". and hang up. You don;t actually need to call the police but it will usually eventually stop them. IT IS A SCAM.
I suspect they get the personal info by either buying it from a crooked employee who took an application for a loan or hacking into someone's legitimate data base.
NEVER GIVE OR CONFIRM ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION WITH ANYONE OVER THE PHONE UNLESS YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY SURE YOU KNOW WHO YOU'RE TALKING TO.

This guy has called my phone several times approximately 10 times already today. Very annoying when trying to get work done. When I called back they said they were the Bureau of Investigation. Something needs to be done about this then he started asking me questions about myself and how long I worked here etc. I just put him on hold.  Said that he wanted 'name's supervisor name and contact information I just said I did not know because I was knew then he asked me how long I worked here. Someone needs to stop this @ some point with this many complaints.

those [***], i got the same call just an hour ago, said that i was n a legal mess and tht i should ifix it, that i got a cash advance from california, that they will charge check fraud, etc, that the officers will be at my mailbox and to be there, or to fight in court or outside of court to pay $315.00. he went by the name of daniel crawford and some other guy that sounded like him, ask me to pay within one hr with a walmart moneycard.

I am a police officer in northern california. I received a call from a Daniel Crawford who identified himself as an investigator for the State of Calif., Department of Investigation and Litigation, demanding that I pay Cash Advance $350 that I borrowed or I will be arrested. He had my social security number. I don't
how he got my social security number.  I also spoke to an Albert Johnson, who identified himself as a senior officer at the aforementioned company. If so many complaints have been filed against these people, why are they still doing business? This guy Johnson also said, that he was going to contact my Sgt.

I got two calls and two voicemails from an indian man who claimed to be David scott form bureau of litiation and investigation. He had my SSN and email telling me I would be arrested and I was being recorded.
When i looked up the number and saw it was a big scam. I reported the incident, put an alert on my credit and  I called back and informed that I would b reporting them to the FBI and FTC. a woman picked up thsi time and she exclaimed in fear. Then the mand took th phone and said " do you know the size of my dick" I simply said no but you can share that information with the authorites and hung up.
