Caller left message that stated that the U.S. Treasury needed to talk with me.  It was a very threatening call and it seemed like a "phishing" scam.  I will not return the call.

I got a call from this number as well.  A man with a thick India accent called and said something similar.  He was VERY angry and threatening.  I hung up.  He called back 5-6 times and even left a message on my machine.  He said I was in BIG trouble and that he was calling the police because I hung up on him and that I would be behind bars within the hour.  He said he was with the Dept of Legal Services at the Dept of Treasury and that they were coming after me.  He even told me my address.  I called the police and they told me to report it to the FBI via their website.  (ic3.gov).  I did.  It was upsetting because he was angry and yelling and threatening and had information about me.  TOTAL SCAM.

Male with a thick Indian accent called and said he was from the US treasury department. I knew it was a scam immediately because he asked for a FAKE name I created years ago to give out at fairs, raffles, and other online garbage where I didn't want my real name floating about.

Same M.O. as above, Indian accent, angry, threatening.

They called me 3 times telling me police were coming by would not say why or what I supposedly have done. It was an Indian man with a heavy accent by he couldn't say what I did and when I challenged him he told me police were coming in 2 hours to arrest me. He wouldn't transfer me to anyone with authority or tell me what I did. Scam!!

Recurring calls to my fathers house and my own line. He is a scammer

Keep getting calls from this number. They know what they are talking about when they are giving out violations and codes. The very first call scared me but I looked up the number and sure enough "It is what it is" SCAM!! Everyone that works at the US Treasury Dept., has a very thick strong middle eastern accent, I have spoken so far to a Michael Lee, Mark Johnson, Keith Benson, Sean Williams and once I spoke with a female named Michele.
Well today they called again and they caught me in a mood, I proceeded to let them understand that I know this is a scam and to stop calling and I hung up.  He called again then I let him have it, I will and are proud to say that I am a sailor bad mouth [***] and went full throttle on their f_______g [***], I also went Old School and started calling the number every 5 mins until they started getting annoyed, after 15 mins., they just picked it up and hung up.

I Say to everyone who gets a call from them play their scam and call them over and over and over they to get tired of harassing phone calls. In fact I will be calling them daily for a couple of hours every 10-15 mins., see how they like it.

My question to the lucky man who had the joy of calling me today was. "How come everyone that is employed by the  US Treasury Dept., comes from  Middle East and are they trying to scam people out of their money to support idiots in the Middle East" that's when he got upset and hung up.

Also the Department of The US Treasury is located in Washington not So. Cal

I agree did the same thing today to 707-320-1440  could not believe they called on Thanksgiving trying this crap.  Called them continuously for a straight hour and they finally disconnected the line.  I am going to do this for now on if I have the time when they call.  FIGHT BACK...they already have your number...so bug the crap out of them until they disconnect the stolen line they are using.  Another number is 657-444-0415  Read about these scams and see they actually get money out of people.
