Caller did not identify self  or leave message.  I am on do not call registry.

Caller ID says United Collections.  They asked for my former sister-in-law by name and wanted me to call her and give her their number.  I have not seen nor heard from sister-in-law in over 13-14  years.  I refused to try to find her.

this number called me and wand to verify my where abouts and than at the end of the message someone yelled at a girl and said don't say my really name yet. going to take it to the police station and turn this in.

I just got a call from them asking for information on my neighbor.  I thought it was strange and told them that I do not know anything about my neighbor.

Who are these people and why are they calling me? They left no message.

How can you stop them from calling? Morning, Noon and late Night.

The phone only rang twice, then quit.

Number on my voice mail..no message...2 calls within 5 minutes...dead air...

I received a call but they refuse to identify themselves so I just canceled the call.

They can be quite harassing. As mentioned by someone else, they called one of my neighboors trying to contact me but after making a deal with them to pay my debt (In my case it was a sears card), they have been pretty nice to work with. I set up my automatic payments and I never receive any calls from them unless I have to renew my check numbers.

Word of advice... if you have some outstanding debt and are able pay more than the minimum, these people are willing to set up payment plans giving up to 50% discount if you qualify.

Had the same call looking for my husbands cousin that we have no issues with.

They keep calling every day. I never answer a phone call that I don't know the number less any
800 or 900 numbers. Please stop them.

Reporting to police. They are trying to reach a neighbor I don't even know by harrassing me on my cell phone.

They just called me looking for a neighbor. I am on the do not call list but they did not seem to care.

UCB, they left a very mean message and kept saying they were calling about my relative Caroline. Said things like Calling about your relative Caroline, I excpect a call back from you by 9 PM eastern time. After all this is your relative! Problem is I don't even know a Carolline, never been related to anyone with that name. Well actually another problem with that is...after listening to that cruel message even if I did I would not call them at all.

got called. recognized the area code so i picked up. the guy wanted the last 4-digits of my SS to "verify" that he's speaking to the right person.  i asked who i'm talking to, but he would tell me, but kept wanting to "verify" me with other info, like address, name.  after 3 times i asked him who he was, and he wouldn't tell me unless i verify, i hung up politely.

Caller was clearly phishing for information. Could not even pronounce my name correctly. When I challenged them to fully identify who they were and what company they were calling from, the guy hung up.

Similar thing just happeded to me.  They called looking for my brother-in-law, whom my husband DOES NOT speak to and hasn't in many years.  They sounded suspicious which was frustrating.  If I knew how to get a hold of him I would LOVE to give them his phone number

had a message on my phone they are wanting MY information because they are looking for "my relative" but the name they gave is no relation to me.
