I got a text message saying I have an account issue, and to call this number.  But it doesn't say what account, so I'm not calling.  

Got Vtext on Cell phone: (******-XXXX AchieveAccountFrozen) Call: 9545811777
I had to do it just for kicks.  Automated number says card account is Frozen to reactivate please enter your 9 digit social.  123456789
Verify Social 1
Enter your 16 digit credit card number
Random numbers
Verify Card 1
Incorrect card number.
After 3 attempts automated voice quit asking.

My husband and have gotten 2 of these text in less than 2 minutes apart. In sure hope there is some way we can get these stopped.

I just got this same text too.  Any word on if it is fake or real?

The 3rd text regarding an Achieve Account (which I don't have!) The other 2 numbers were different, but in looking them up, they are all fraudulent scams.
They're looking for personal information - social security #s, credit account numbers, etc. DON'T RETURN THEIR CALLS!!!

The other people reporting a problem were all Verizon customers!

I got the same Vtext on Cell phone: (******-XXXX AchieveAccountFrozen) Call: 9545811777.  It is a scam.  If in doubt call your bank directly not these scammers.  Once you give them your personal it is to late, they will have on line accounts opened with in the hour and have spent several hundreds if not thousands of dollars.

Just got a text from 22043@vtext.com with the message: (441858XXXXXX AchieveAccountFrozen) Call: 9545811777. Looked up the phone number & it led to this page. I know better than to call such a number, but it makes me angry that someone is preying on people who DON'T know better.

It's a genuine fraud.

This is quite possibly what some individuals in the NSA are doing--selling phone numbers to spammers and scammers alike....

I work for Verizon wireless and will never ask for your personal or credit card info over a text or email. unless you call us directly and request to chng you acct info, we will never ask for sensitive info

We have received dozens of these txts. Can't verizon do something???

I am a Verizon Customer too. Got a txt that says "Call:(954)5811777 (smiONE Card Alert)" Says it came from 8870@vtext.com. Have no idea what that is supposed to mean but there is zero chance I will be calling them. I suspect it is like the jerks that keep calling, multiple times a day, to "lower my card rates" I do not own credit cards at all, who but an idiot would fall for this crap?
