Report a phone call from 954-607-4544 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- California Resident| 3 repliesThis caller, who barely spoke English, said he was an officer from the Federal Crime Investigation Department. He said there was an issue with my "accounts listed with him" and I need to call ASAP before any more damage could be done. Well, I know for a fact that it is illegal to impersonate law enforcement and also its illegal to use "scare" tactics when trying to collect a debt. I will investigate further and see if I can get some money out of this company for there illegal practices.

California Resident- Caller: ?
- Kentucky resident replies to California Resident| 1 replyI got that phone call too, except I couldn't understand where he was saying he was from. The funny thing is that the caller ID showed a local area code. Not sure how that works. I am going to ignore it, but good luck going after them.
- Joe replies to Kentucky residentthats true he did not speak english i even had a hard time understanding what he was saying and i couldnt so i gave up on listening to him so i hunged up. he told me to call him so i did and i asked for Sean Marshell and he said no this is not "Sean Marshell" and hunged up on me so he went and called my brother's cell i dont know how the hell he got his number because i dont even know his number lol. so i had my dad call him to see what happens so he did and he asked for the mentioned name and he hunged up on my dad wtf is up with that? it's crazy if you ask me.
- Ca Resident UPDATE| 1 replyI called back trying to figure out what was going on. I asked to speak to a manager and he said that if I dont "pay today" that he would send my case to the courts and I could end up paying $2500. I told him I need more time to figure out what was going on, he got angry. I asked him for the name of the company that I owe this money to, and he would not give me an answer. He simply said that "it doesnt matter, are you willing to resolve this issue today?" I said "No", because I do not understand where this debt is from. So in the end, I got nowhere. Either this Debt Collection Company is using improper and illegal tactics to collect a debt, or we have some seriously incompetent idiots working for the state and/or local government offices.
- Mia replies to Ca Resident UPDATEIts a scam people, I got a call too this time his name is Jeff Morris, sound like middle eastern accent ,dont worry they are scaring you, I am ignoring it.its a identity theft people, do not give out your bank info,
- Oklahoma ResidentI got a call from this 954 number has been threatening my family and gave out my social on my moms answering machine so you might want to go to the social security office to make sure no one has been using your information not to mention checking your credit report. This guy had a heavy accent calling his self jeff morris and said he was an investigator. I think he failed to realize I work in law enforcement and like Califronia Resident said it is illegal to impersonate someone of the law. I dont take threats kindly and neither does my family.
- Maryland ResidentWow! Where does this scambag took his guts to fool people all around the states? I don't even think he has conscience to feel guilty about his wrong deeds. The only fault I did was when I gave out my details on various pay day loan sites without even thinking the consequences I could get. Honestly, at first, I was really a bit conscious at the call from that 945-607-4544 number and had been wise enough to look on the internet for that random number trying to wreck my dignity. Luckily, I wasn't the only one that he has been trying to victimize! My mom was the one who first got his call and my mom even tried to contact that d*ckhole, that's the time I got frustrated because I was not afraid of the message he left me saying, "This message was intended for "my name" please call this number 954-... You got a complaint under the said name and this is (the first name I heard was Jack Harrison but when the other posts call another name maybe I got that wrong - slight hearing impairment so as the story goes on..) Jeff Morris, calling you. I need to hear from you before we proceed this case to the court house, so on and so forth!" Because I was more afraid to my mom and the thought of what she would think over me (mom's not familiar with the modern techies so I thought of searching for the number on the net so she could see her herself). The nerve of that guy to use officials for his own scam plans. I can't barely even understand the words he was saying! It took me 15mins. to understand it and ended still not understood the words he said! Uhh, I just wasted time for the stupid, scandalous prank call! I would really hope he gets a very fast karma and wish he'll get the hell out of the threats he spreaded. He sounded like an Indian that was not even close for a last name Morris, whoever you are dude good luck to you and your group I couldn't wish for more than having your organization be arrested. Hope your family don't suffer for your own foolishness! God bless America!

- Georgia Resident replies to California ResidentI got the same call...but the person called my job. Asked my supervisor for all kinds of info about me but she didn't tell him anything. She got the number (same as the one posted on this site) and his name (Officer Tom Smith). Is there some type of legal action that should be taken regarding this incident. I haven't made an attempt to call back, and don't really plan to.
- CA Resident 2I got the same call just this morning from a guy with a heavy..HEAVY accent calling himself Christopher ... I could not understand his last name. Anyway, it freaked me out because he called my office line and sounded angry...I work for lawyers so I have a pretty good grasp of the law...I then got a call on my cell with a 0000 phone number with Christopher threating me...or so I think...I can't tell, I don't understand. I'm not calling back. I was going to until I read all of the above. Thanks all!

- Justin HelmsI just received a call from them saying I owed them money for a cash advance from Loan Today. When I called back, the middle-eastern man told me that the amount was between $210 - $290 and that it was from medical bills and that in one hour he would be filing fraud charges against me. I've now missed three hours from work because of this jerk!
- Caller: Loan Today
- Janilyn BankesterThis man keeps calling me saying i owe them $823.22. I can barely understand him because of his middle-eastern accent. When I would try to talk to him, he kept going on and on.....wouldn't really let me have a chance to talk to him. I asked to talk to someone else of whom I could understand well, but he just connects me with another man with middle-eastern accent. He says I supposedly owes money for this loan. I've applied for a couple of loans in the past, but did not get approved. Obviously I would know if I would get approved for a loan. It would go to my account or I would get a check in the mail....something. It just all seems wierd to me and very suspicious to me. Oh yeah, he said he is a police officer in Florida. Was not specific about what city/town.

- Jessica| 1 replyI have a strong feeling this same scammer man called my workplace today and yesterday. However, he called from a 646 New York area code, but used the name Jeff Morris. He also said he was a Doctor. This man also had a strong middle eastern accent and was difficult at times to understand. I think thats part of his whole act. This man ordered jewelry from the company I work for after discovering us on a website called 1stdibs.com. He ordered two pieces, paid with a VISA credit card, and had one thing shipped to an address on Madison Ave in NY, NY and the other to an address on Church Drive in Corinth, TX. The latter is where he said he lived and the billing address for his credit card matched the ship-to address. He had a whole story that his daughter Sarah Morris was a student at NYU and that he was buying the earrings for her birthday and that they needed to arrive the next day. Even wrote this sweet card for her to include for him. The ring was for his wife and there was no rush. He even bargained for our best price on these pieces, which is pretty typical in the antique jewelry world. We sent our jewelry to him as directed, using our standard postal service and required signature upon delivery as all of our insured packages require. The next day he called back to order more. He said his daughter had seen a bracelet of our on 1stdibs website that she loved and he wanted to get her that too. Using the same credit card he wanted to pay for the bracelet and have it shipped overnight to her, but this time using Fed Ex. We questioned this and asked for further information from him. He sent us a picture of his Texas drivers license which looked fake and the picture of the young white man on it meant we had been taken to the bank the day before and weren't about to let it happen again. We called him and plainly told him his info did not match up and that we could not sell him anything else. First he tried to spin some story about his ex-wife's new husband's credit card then he just hung up when he knew we weren't buying it.
His email address he used was morrisjeff320@gmail.com. I don't have his exact phone number with me as I am not at work right now, but I know he has targeted other dealers on 1stdibs.com (I found afterwards) and who knows how many other businesses and individuals. This guy needs to be caught!
There is a chance we will be able to retrieve our jewelry as neither delivery was not successful at 1st attempt. We are trying to return them to sender before the second attempt.
Anyway, watch out for this guy. I learned a huge lesson today and hope I can help prevent this guy from scamming someone else!- Caller: Dr. Jeff Morris
- jas replies to Jessicamorrisjeff320@gmail.com is scamming via email as well. He contacted me feigning interest in an item from my online art and antiques shop. He calls himself Dr Jeff / Jeff Morris and provided this address:
5210 broadway
apt 13e
bronx,new york
10463
Beware. - CBWe just had a guy claim his name was Jeff Morris and try to order jewelry from our store. Sounds just like to story from Jessica. His email was morrissjeff300@gmail.com. We tried to verify his card and found out the name did not match. The actual card holder is being notified. His cell number was 646-396-6946. This guy is still at it.
