This is another one of those calls. why cant someone figure out who the hell this is and stop them its so annoying

I keep getting these phone calls also - I'm on T-mobile.  I don't know how they got my number but they also never leave a message.  I will definitely not answer since now I know this seems to be some sort of scam... but if they keep calling, maybe i'll have to answer to ask them to put me on their do not call list!  Pain in the neck!

Well, they just kept on calling for a few days. Didn't leave a message or anything, but just kept on calling. I think it is from the subscription company that is linked with Blockbuster. It was since I started renting video that those people have been calling from different phone numbers asking for subscription on magazines.

It's annoying that they call....I've gotten it three times today.

This was weird. They called my cell 3 times. I finally answered and they said. "This is Active Periodicals. This call is for telemarketing purposes only. Goodbye" WTF?

phone number woke me up this morning saying i won $1000 shopping spree to answer just four questions. brainlessly answered two in which they were displeased that i'm not working and hung up. call them back to remove my number but had to leave a message. please find them and kill them.

I have rcd 3 calls from this number each day for the last 3 days. I did just subscribe to a new magazine, but if they call again, I am soo cancellin!!

4 times, once per hour. This has been going on for the past month or so now. Very annoying! Granted, if it's a number I don't know, I just let it go to voicemail, but honestly!

same as most of the above, the guy asked for Mr or Mrs.... but I'm a Ms. and then he let me know that I won $1000 on-line gift card, funny how it could have been me or my parents that won!... I just hung up

either ignore, hang up, or threaten to call the police...

I called them back and asked them to remove me from their calling list. She asked me for my number so I gave it to them and she said I would be removed from the list. Easy enough, but lets see if it works.

dude, wtf, these people called me like at 11AM while i was doing something private and interrupted my session, I'm furious, I did not answer as I do not answer numbers I do not know. They called again, I figured it must be someone I know, so I answered and blank, I called back and it rang and a recording came on, they called again at 8PM and I answered, some b***h told me I won a $1,000 giftcard, I answered 4 questions, that I was a student and that I did not work and that I was born in 1985 and if I was single or married, she seemed upset that I was not working (I don't need to, I have huge savings). when I asked how she got my number she said "you must have filled out some sweepstakes form", i did but i can't remember which ones and when, so i figure there could be some truth in this. In a retaliatory attack against them, I am going to bomb call them back, non-stop just to annoy them, I'm going to talk to representatives and harass them, no one interrupts me in my lone time. I'm just upset because someone gave out my info to a 3rd party, and I am usually careful of this sort of thing

I got two calls from this number today (3/19). The first time I did not answer and no message was left. The second time, I answered and then the call ended. My service is through T-Mobile.

Son of a b***h this person has called me 8 times today, I've only answered once, originally thought it was a friend, from FL, similar area code, but guess not.  I have T-Mobile, so I'm guessing all carriers are getting called by these bastards.  Apparently I gave them my number somehow somewhere sometime, even though this number is BRAND NEW.  I, like Rico, am going to bomb call these people on their official number once I get hold of it.

received two calls today, 3/20/08, answered both times but no one spoke with me.  the first time i answered i heard a lot of people in the background.  second time i heard nothing.  tried to call back, got busy signal.

I got a call from a lady on March 18 at 9:40 am saying I had won a 1000 shopping spree and I just needed to answer a few questions. The first one was whether I am a Miss or Mrs. When I asked her how I had won this spree she said I must have published something in print or on the internet. I asked what company she worked for; she said the Better Business Bureau; when I asked her name she would only give me her first name "Linda". I asked for a phone number (she gave me the exact one that displayed on my phone log - did not offer her bosses name.)She sounded slightly husky, maybe older like at least 30s or 40s, but what can you tell over the phone really?  I told her I would have to check out her story before I could give out any information. She said she understood but then also said she just had a FEW questions. I am with Consumer Cellular - Good grief this is getting aweful! Don't these people have a conscience?
