I got a call today and a woman asked for me by name. I could hear allot of noise in the back ground which sounded like a call center. I had a felling it was telemarketers or something of that sort. I have Nextel also here in Washington.

does anyone know where this "company" got our numbers? they just called me and since i didn't recognize the number i didn't answer.  is there any way to ban these people from calling, besides answering and telling them to stop?

I got two calls today from this number, but I didn't answer since I was on the other line. They didn't leave a message.

I have received two missed calls from them today. 3/27/08 Earlier this month I received a call from a number in Kansas telling me that I had been entered in a drawing to win a million dollars. I told the caller I was not interested. I'm not sure if these calls are related. I have no clue how I got on this call list. I have not purchased any subscriptions or any other suspicious purchases and it is my cell phone they are calling.

They called this morning twice...I answered the first time, didn't recognize voice and asked to take a message to which they responded that it was just a courtesy call.  Then they called back 1 hour later.  Luckly I stored the number in my cell phone (I have verizon) so I can ingore it when they call.

If a real person doesn't start talking to me, I normally hang up.  I've gotten this number memorized so I just ignore it.

These A-Holes just called me for the second time today. I blasted the guy out heavy and he said No need to swear at me we'll put you on a delete list right now. Also filed an incident report with State Police. If it continues I'll have phone records subpeonaed and will have Harassment by Communication charges filed against this company and its employees.

recieved 2 calls from this number.  After reading all your comments, it's a little alarming...I don't have any subsribtions of any sort to any company.  How in the heck did this company get my number and why are they calling me?

After receiving the annoying calls from 954-671-6946, I called them back, but it is more annoying that no one answers except a machine. The question to each one of us is that what we can do to stop them. This company has no respect to our privacy at all.

the answering came on stating thank you for calling Active Periodicals.  Didn't stay on to hear the rest.

I have had 5 different calls from this number and nobody is ever there.

I received  a call from this number as a missed call two times. Since everyone receives them, I would not answer to this call next time, furthermore, I don't have enough free minutes remaining, this is an extra reason I didn;t answer

I got a call from this number today and when I answered they hung up....

I keep getting call from this number everday at least twice a day in the morning and evening. When I answer they say nothing and when I don't answer they do not leave a voice mail.  I wish they would stop calling me.

i keep getting this number but they just hang up!  My last call was on May 5th.  But when they do call, they call like three times in a row on my cell phone, wtf is that all about?

the number 954-671-6946 called my cell phone today, i answered by saying hello, the rude man on the other end replyed by saying my name, i then "asked who is this?" he answered by saying that i had won some type of giftcard, i then hung up the phone. i then registered on the national DO NOT CALL LIST.

have received about 3-4 calls a day on my cell for the past week - VERY annoying, but don't want to call it back

I have recieved 8 calls from them since yesterday and I don't answer it because I don't know who it is.. so I googled it and came here.. I am on ATT and was registered on the Do not call list before this happened so don't know what they are getting at.. grrrr
