I got this phone call too! They are just scam..block them!

What is this Active Periodicals company anyway? And how are they getting cell phone numbers? That's ridiculous

Have had multiple calls from this number, never get the chance to answer it though as it rings just long enough to show the number then stops.  I have AT&T so with the other services that have also been getting calls from this I doubt it's a provider issue.

I've got two calls from this company today, and two yesterday. When I call back it's a dial tone. I have no idea who it is.  I haven't signed up for anything recently that I can think of that would've involved my phone number, so I really don't know

I received a call from this number and it said I won a thousand dollar certificate and I told them I was under 18.They said thats its ok and they asked what year I was born in and if I am single or married.How weird!!!I got this call on June 23,2008 at 5:20 from Active Periodic.It was not the first time I got this call,but it was a different person.I got a call 2 times and I didnt ignore either I dont know why.The first time I got the call they said to call back when I was 18.I am dumb for answering!!!0_0

they called me this morning and said i won something and if i wouldnt mind completing their survey.  i said i did mind and hung up.

i just do not pick up the phone

these guys must be dealing in identity theiving.beware of them dont even answer their calls

i've got calls from this number a few times in the last couple of days.  i keep not answering, hopefully they give up soon.  they never leave a voicemail.

Yeah. This same number called me three times. Twice on the 15th and once so far today. I havent answered any of them because I've been getting other calls similar to these ones except that the other ones were all (727)849 numbers. Five to be exact, none of which called more than once from the same number;
(727)849-1437,(727)849-1341,(727)849-1359,(727)849-1496, and (727)849-1976
Its getting really annoying.

I forgot to add, I have Virgin Mobile, and as far as I know you can't block numbers from cell phones. If you can please email me at underHOLLYoath@inbox.com

I keep on getting calls from this number as well. I haven't picked up, but i know it will be about some dumb prize thing. Someone probably typed in your phone numbers on an offer for a site like Rewards1.com . i was doing subscriptions on there with my phone number, and i get several calls like this every so often.

these people calls for many times and some of the times i dont answer their calls one day i answered it and machine answered i was like gosh what the hell is this

got A call from them- i have at&t and they didnt say anything....

I received a call from this phone number, (954) 671-6946. I usually do not answer numbers that I do not recognize so I didn’t answer. I was surprised that a voice message was not left so I tried calling the number back from a landline and it was not a number that receives incoming calls. I then thought about looking it up online and found this page. I hope the number does not continue to call! Creeps.

just activated my verizon cell phone a few weeks ago, no one has my number. This number has called 4 times. I don't answer and they don't leave a message.

this # called on 8-6-08. i don't recall it there was a message, but i have been getting plenty of strange #'s call me around the same time of the day. around 10am. i have verizon.

I'm with Verizon and I recently switched my phone number and I've only given my number to my family and work place. This number keeps popping up at least twice a week - usually when I'm sleeping(work nights) which is getting super annoying having them wake me up every day.

These numbers that people are not talking to you when they call are a scam. what they will do is start charging your celluar acct. untill you hang up!
