I finally called it back after getting 5 calls a day for the last 4 to 5 days and not even picking up.  

So the answering machine mentioned something about eye care, as other postings here report, and then mentioned; "if you'd like to be on our Do Not Call list, please leave your name and number at the beep." I bugged off right away, cuz it just doesn't feel right. I think the answering machine is intentionally misleading and the number might actually be some $$$ number. I guess I'll see when I get my next bill.

THEY WON'T LEAVE ME ALONE !!!  I keep getting this call at least once per day.   I too, just had hello, hello, hello.  I am really getting fed up with this.  This is my business that keeps getting interrupted.

I went to Pearle Vision yesterday for an exam and new glasses.  Received a call, NO message from this number.  Thought I would report it since we seem to have the eye glass thing in common.  My appt was in St. Charles, IL.

I just received my first call from this number. The caller did not leave a message.I recently had an eye exam and purchased glasses from LensCrafters, as was mentioned by many of the others. I have used LensCrafters for years, but have never received any calls from this number

Just got a call from this number. Answered it, but there was no sound on the other line. I hung up after about 10 seconds.

Two calls today. No message.

1 call today from Lenscrafters appointment scheduling. It was a reminder for a yearly checkup supposedly automatically scheduled since my last exam one year ago.

We have rec'd these calls on home phone caller id also.  No messages left.  My husband just went to a Dr. at a Lens Crafters in KC MO area Sunday!

I've gotten three calls in the last five days; no messages left.

I keep receiving a call at least once, many times, twice a day. emailed Lenscafters to see if it's their number. Filed a complaint with donotcall.gov. The number is based in Broward county Florida. When I find these people, I'll post their home addresses and numbers.

This number keeps calling and is not leaving a message. Every day this week, sometimes a couple times in one day.

It's Lenscrafters. Those jerks hire a company to call all of us to pester us for an eye exam - they'll make the appointment for you - without you knowing. I just chewed out one of their girls for which she apologized for their company's complete stupidity.

The call never leaves a message. When I call it back it mentions an eye appointment and if I wish to be taken off the call list to leave my number after the beap. This IS NOT the number to my optomotrist nor have I schedule an appointment within the past three months.

Called my cell, no message. Interesting other people mention eye appts and LensCrafters. I was just there over the weekend.

I've been getting these calls too. Glad I found this site cause the eye care thing really clears things up. I just called and left my name and number to not call again. I'll let you all know if that works!

I have recently received calls from this number.  I haven't answered.  But with references to Lencrafters...it may be helpful to point out that I just had my yearly exam at a local Lenscrafter in Phoenix a few days ago.  Are these people hacking the Lenscrafters system and getting our information?

I called and left them my message that I do not want them calling me at all. It is a "Lenscrafters" Appointment reminder service, although our appointments were days ago. If they call you just number! I did!

I got this number on my missed calls. Its been about 3 weeks since last time they called, I didn't answer they didn't leave a message. Weird. And yes You can try.... to block it on the webb got to national do not call list and add your cell phone number! It works for a while!

I received a number of calls from these people, and I eventually contacted Lenscrafters after looking through these comments. Apparently I signed up for a program that automatically sets me up with an eye doctor appointment each year (which I do not remember signing up for, but they told me there is a form that I filled out apart from my general chart information). Although Lenscrafters did not confirm this, it is my impression that this is how my information got into the system in the first place.

i have gone to the optometrist at lens crafters and am due for another apointment, but this would not be the local office's number.  i have not answered it, nor returned any phone calls, but they have called me three times with no messages left.
