Called twice this week while I was out.  Left no message.

The caller ID reads Blair 954-922-1016. I've gotten many calls from this number over the past two weeks but haven't answered. When I saw the  name "Blair" I thought it was the mail order place out of Warren, Pa., which I have ordered from in the past.
Today my husband answered before checking who it was.  The lady asked for me.  She told me because I was a loyal customer that my name had been put in a pool and I won the drawing of $5,000 towards a life insurance policy.  When I told her I didn't need any life insurance she just kept right on talking.

I called the number back, and was given the option to add my # to Blair's DNC list, which I did. We'll see if this ends it.

Received call from "BLAIR" at 954-922-1016.  Initial representative stated she was in Chicago but had a life insurance policy for $10,000 for Blair customers which would also include AD&D.  Try free for 60 days! Then she transferred me to another rep who has a "license to sell insurance" in my state.  I spoke with Marge Bonner (at first said her name was Gonner) and while listening to her, went to my state's Department of Insurance to check her license.  There is no license for a person with that name.  Also, they said the policy was with Stonebridge Insurance, so I looked on my state Department of Insurance website to look up their license, and there is no license for their company either.  So, I hung up (over the protests of the rep. who said she was calling from Florida and maybe her license wasn't visible on the State website, but I assured her other out of state license holders were visible on the State website).

We receive calls from 954-922-1016 several times a week, but do not answer.  The caller ID says, Ruben Acosta.  If other people are seeing the ID "Blair", it makes you wonder who it really is!!!

I received a call from this number 10/28/09 in the AM and dileberatly missed the call.  I had been getting numerous calls from unknown people so I placed a block on my line.  It works to some degree that I can always check to see a number, but believe that there is a spamming situation going on from a this and other paticular numbers I am receiving calls from. Just 10 minutes I received a call from another number that had consumers reporting that ATT suposedly set up a number to bypass the block I placed on my line, why I don't know.  I did not answer that call either.  My advise is to never answer when it's a solicitor b/c of the aggressive style salesmanship just to get your personal info being linked to this number from other comments.  I will never answer any call from Blair or Privacy Manager or people who I don't know who it is.  They can leave a message if it's a legit call.

I picked up a call from 954-922-1016 (Blair) today at 1:00PM Mountain time. The party stumbled with surprise, I surmised, that the call had been answered. It sound as if the female voice knew my first name, (not the one I use with personal contacts) but began to giggle as if she was stating into a script reading live for the first time. I hung up at that point.

I get calls at least 4 times a week from this number.  It has Ruben Acosta on it and I am fed up with this.  We are on the do not call list.

30 Oct 2009. I called Blair at 1-800-458-2000 and spoke with a woman who admitted that Blair had furnished our names and telephone numbers to the person calling from 954-922-1016 with an insurance offer. I won't be buying from Blair again.

I also was receiving 3-4 calls a week from 954-922-1016 and the caller ID said Ruben Acosta.  I finally answered and there was no one there.  I called back and found out that Blair Products, who I had bought 2 pairs fo capris from was selling my phone number.  I also requested to be put on the DNC list today, hopefully this will end it.

This dork at 954-922-1016 called my sister's phone (different name) in Wash state the other day, but we missed it.  Since I'm a Blair, I tried to return the call but a recording announced it was "disconnected" or "not in service",  So how could they make outgoing calls?  Probably hijacking someone's phone line?  Just another form of malicious spam.  Why aren't phone companies able, authorised or legally bound to nuke these people?

Just gotta call from this number and ID (BLAIR (954)922-1016) asking for an Anna McMaxy. I said there wasn't anyone here by that name. The girl said she would call back later. This is the second call I have gotten from them.

I picked up the phone and there was nobody there.  954-922-1016 Now that I see it's possibly life-insurance related, they'd better hope they never do get me on the phone.  My mom passed away a month ago, and I can't believe I'd suddenly get spam calls from insurance companies! I'm on the DNC list as well.  GRRRR!

I have an internet call forwarding service that caught 6 calls from 9:12am - 10:40am this day. No messages were left on any of the calls.

Like another post said, they better HOPE they never do actually connect with me ... I likewise am on the national DNC list ... and it just makes me go GRRRRRR
when these boneheads don't take a hint ...

Unlike the others posting comments, my call showed "Ruben Acosta" as the name associated with the number ...

Recieved numerous calls from this number. Asks to speak to my wife but will not talk to me. Caller quickly says they will call back then Hangs up when asked a question by me. Is this a new identity theft technique. The Government should investigate and stop this.

A prerecorded message at this number (954) 922-1016 gives an opt-out.  It also said it was a third party that got my phone number from Blair, the mail order clothing place in Warren, PA.  As you are well aware, selling customer information to a third party is a common practice for companies you do business with, have made purchases from, etc. The National Do No Call Registry website states that calls from companies with which you have an existing business relationship are exempt from the DNCR.  Is this a fuzzy area or is Acosta Ruben in violation of the DNCR?

Like another person here also did, I just got off the phone with the real Blair company. They admitted to working with Stonebridge Insurance.
I told them to make it clear what I think of their company taking liberties with my personal information and telephone for the sake of lining their own pockets with money, that we were several our longstanding relationship with the Blair company permanently.

Moreover, this "sharing your information with 3rd party vendors" without your concent should NOT be a loophole to the Do Not Call lists and should be flat out illegal.
