We keep getting phone called from a Ben Stonebridge (shows up on our caller ID) with a phone number of 954-926-0167. First time I answered a lady asked to speak to my husband. Said it had to do with his order from JCPenney ! He didn't order anything! We quit answering calls from this number. They call constantly and at all hours of the day and evening. Today, I decided to tell them to quit calling us. Said it would take up to 30 days to remove us from their list. He was very polite and apologized. Unusual.

I to keep getting calls in evenings.  Fortunately, it would seem, I have not answered them but will tell them to stop calling.  I am on a do not call list - obviously ignored!

They didn't leave a message.

repeated calls from Ben Stoneridge on the call log/ID . No message and annoying.Whatever company/person/idiot this is needs to identify themselves and or be prosecuted for abusing of personal phone numbers(mine is unlisted and unpublished). Cease  and Desist order needs to be implemented

My grandmother was receiving multiple calls per week from this number.  The caller was a man stating he's calling from JC Penney's.  My mother went on the line and said the number was on the do not call thing and they should not call again or we'd report them.  That was last week.  She hasn't received anymore calls from this number.  I checked google for this number and other's have had problems since 2006.  These scams are just aweful!

Also, its not Ben Stoneridge, it seems its listed under Stoneridge Benefits but the efits is cut off.  Don't know.

Just call the number back (954) 926-0167 and a machine says for english press 3 so I pressed 3 then the machine says "to know about the products of blah blah blah Stonebridge benefits etc call blah blah blah" whatever it says.

Then she says if you want your number on the DO NOT CALL LIST press 2 then I pressed 2 then she says to put in my 10 digit phone number starting with the area code and i did it but then this man (a machine) said "sorry this service could not be processed at this time, try again at a later time" or something like that and that seemed phishy but I DID IT AGAIN. I called a second time and this time it worked!! The machine repeated the number after i put it in and then it says if its correct to press 1 and then it said thank you, goodbye.

so hopefully i wont get any more calls from this apparently famous "BEN"!!
so remember if you get that guy machine voice saying sorry to try again just call back and do it again, it'll work the second time, if not the third time!!
but it worked for me and someone else who i took the advice from so it should work for YOU!!

These people call at least once a wk. They don't leave a msg.  I would like to know who they are?

After receiving many telephone calls from this telephone number I called it back and placed my telephone number on a do not call list.  I continue to get telephone calls.  I then visited the better business bureau and found the following telephone number as an additional contact number.

I called this number and spoke to Patsy Redwine.  She informed me that companys, by law, are allowed 30 days to cease calling someone who has requested to not be called again.  Patsy also told me she could fax a form to the companies who are calling me and have them stop within a couple of days.

This harassment is rediculous, but if more people would call Patsy, maybe this company would change its calling practices.

This same company called the other day and wanted to speak to someone else in my household. That person was not available. (I had also received a call days ago about receiving some kind of benefits from JCPenney.) So, the company called today and when I said I was not interested and explained why I was not available to speak, the person hung up before I even finished the sentence. How rude! When I called the number back, it just gave me a chance to be put on the DO NOT CALL LIST (which I did, of course!), and wouldn't transfer me to speak to anyone.

I have been getting these calls also (4/12-17/08).  Decided to look on the web since I see is the name on the caller ID.  I have also had my phone number on the do not call list but this person or company must be from the Id ten t school (ID10T).  Since I did place an order with JC Penny some months ago, I wonder who is giving this Ben. Stonebridge my number, as my number is private and unlisted.  Why should I place a long distance call on my phone to stop these calls?  Is their another way to block this or find out how they got our number?  I will be talking to JC Penny tomorrow for what good that will do.  Any more suggestions?  Any lawyers, judges getting these calls? Maybe they can suggest something to help us!  Thank you for listening.

I did not answer the call. I am on the do not call list but still get calls all the time from unkown callers that are telemarketers. Thanks to the information here I will consider further action. I also get mail all the time from Stonebrige wanting me to purchase life ins. All because I have a J.C. Penney credit card. So perhaps complaints to J.C. Penney are in order.

Got a call from this number last night and they left a message asking for my name. I had no clue who they were or what they wanted. Will call the 800 number today and ask them to stop. How annoying..................and we are on the National Do Not Call Registry!! Obviously that doesn't work!

This number continues to call us over and over for a carolyn peterson... who doesn't live here and has never lived here. They keep calling over and over.  I've told them numerous times that they have the wrong number... One time they called twice in a row and the second time my husband answered told them the same thing... "you have the wrong number"  they said are you sure?! ah.. yeah....they said"ok Mr. Peterson!" and hung up... we are on the do not call list... and I'm pissed... we have a 8 month old who does not need to be woken up by there harrassing calls!

I have been getting calls from this number and another one that is from the same company sience last year, they call everyday and sometimes even twice a week!, i never answer and they never leave a message, i have had it and i am very irritated by these calls that wake me up since i work in the night, i dont know why or how they got my number since i never go to jc penny or never have ordered anything i dont even have a credit card! Is there i never i can call to stop these calls once in for all?, please help!
