All i got was a recorded messaged which simply said Goodbye

Have received numerous calls from this number .... With just, after a considerable pause, speaks 'Good Bye'.  Female voice.  Who do I report it to?

This is an Indian scamming number. When an actual "representative" comes to the line or is on the line. They will say they are from "Windows" and that they are following up on an error message. Their claim is that you downloaded malicious software, and that they will help you remove it. This is a lie, they are installing malicious software. Possibly to steal personal information I.E. credit card information. Do not follow their instructions, Microsoft will never contact you via phone unless you request and it will be from a verifiable source. Microsoft is located in California, not the Hindu Kush mountains.... In reference as to whom you would report the number to, the Cyber crime division of the FBI typically handles scams like this. However, due to the frequency and difficulty dealing with scams such as this. There is a very slim chance that anything can be done, besides a warning being associated with the number.

I have not yet found a way to block or remove the number.

Yet again! 9.00 am in the morning. This is "Windows" - problem with your computer. At least the number was not withheld

Called at 8.30am. I didn't answer then checked no on here.

Got a call from a guy named "Peter" said he was from Windows. Something was wrong with my computer and that it could be hacked. I then said from what company are you from with windows.  Kept saying he was from Windows. Told me to press the cntrl key and window icon key at the same time. I wrote it down. Then he said to type in the box the pops up computercmd. He said a black box should be on the screen.
When i hung up on him i did that and i got a warning to not go further and that it doesn't exist.
My computer had been turned off before he called.
Wont answer this number anymore or anyone else from India.

I got a call from this number wondering who is this person calling me.

i received a call this morning from a fellow identifying himself as John. He wanted to talk about my computer? I told him bluntly that I was not interested in talking about my computer and told him not to call me again. Who is this person and why is he calling me?

Call came in on April 14/15 @ 11:35am. Claimed to be from Windows. My wife said the hold on she would pass him over to her husband. Took about 30 seconds to get to the phone and the caller hand already hung up.
