call from colorado. answered.  indian-sounding man asked for me.  told him i wasn't home, asked for message. none!!

called my cell but left no message

called my phone and told me it was a government grant asked for my checking account info to deposit the money and cleared my account

rcvd a phone call will did not leave for message, call back and its a lady on the voicemail sounded like a cell phone voicemail.

Hey they just called me and for some reason I want to see if it was a scam and I came accross this page and I'm glad to find out it not real ... I called them back an said I'm going to file a police report and make a complaint ... They been doing this for years ... Stand up on don't let these people slide on taking a money from you ... That's how it's going to stop ..,

Repeatedly calls and hangs up a second after I answer it. I can hear background noise but nobody says anything. Calling back the number gives a standard Verizon wireless message saying that "the number you have dialed has recently been changed or disconnected".

I have had the same phone calls and when I told him I knew it was a scam he hung up-then called back -told him I was going to the police-he hung up again then called me back and called me all kind of vulgar names --SO PLEASE DONT ANSWER THESE PEOPLE just reject them  something need to be done with these people

I just got a call from them - didnt answer.
I hope they call back and I am going to give them a bank routing number to a bank somewhere in greece and make up and account number. When they call back - I will tell them that I work for the US Govt Department of Justice and we are in the process of tracking fake internet and telemarketing scams....

SCAMMM!!!! The guy called saying he's from the U.S. government and that my mom is gonna get money. I started questioning him and he said he'll call back..which he didnt. Dont give him any info!!

recieved this call about goverment grant,when I ask what their number was she hung up ,tried to call number back told by operator number discommected.

Call about a government grant

Indian lady called and asked for my wife.  I asked who was calling and she said Government Education.  I asked her to clarify and she abruptly hung up.  Called back the colorado number and it says disconnected.

I just got a call from thos number and they asked me for my account and routing number said I had been approved for a goverment grant. I gave them fake numbers.

i have recieved two calls from this nimber but they don't leave a message as to who they r calling for or what they want!

I, too, got a call from this phone number this morning. I am on the "do not call" registry and I've been getting calls DAILY to my cell (at least 5-6 calls per day) ever since I was dumb enough to fill out a form asking for info on school loans. Despite my requests for them to delete my information and stop calling, they call every day. Sometimes they hang up the instant I answer. Sometimes they call me names. Whenever I ask for their name or the name of the company, they hang up then call me five minutes later. This is clearly intentional harassment. It is also illegal to have a fake outgoing number. I suggest that EVERYONE HERE immediately files a complaint with the IC3 and the Attorney General in Colorado (as well as your State).

The next time they call, be very sweet and nice. Pretend you're interested. Get the person's name and callback number, and the name and address of the company. Get as much info as you can, then tell them you will personally track them down and make them pay.

The number called me got my card info an hung up an when I called back the number  was disconnected.
