Called me also.....i think its a scam

Called and when I answered they hung up!

When I answered it was a home based business having to do with making profit from someone else selling cars. When I finally got a word in and told them I wasn't interested, the guy hung up.

I get calls from this number constantly, and no one is there.
I just do not answer my phone anymore from unavailable numbers.

They called asking for my wife today, when I identified myself as her husband, they quickly hung up!

Folks, the solution to this annoying caller problem is very simple.  There are two things you need:

1.  Subscribe to your phone company''s Caller ID service.  When your phone rings, if the caller ID indicator is showing a name or number that you do not recognize, do not pick up the phone.  Just let it ring.  

2.  Buy yourself a telephone answering machine.  I found a neat one made by AT & T at my local Walmart store for about $15.  I contains a prerecorded message that says "Hello. Please leave a message after the tone."  That message is played to the caller after several rings (adjustable) if you do not answer the phone yourself.  I have found that after a couple weeks of getting only my answering machine, the repeat callers finally give up.

A man called and asked for my wife.  When I told him she wasn't here he hung up.

Caller ID showed "MACS Systems" followed by the above referenced phone number.  Asked for my mother and hung up when I said she wasn't here.  

Here's another tip.......MACS spelled backwards is SCAM.
