Answered my cell, but no one there.  The words "CALL HELD" appeared onscreen.  I have a TracFone & wonder if there's a problem thru TracFone?  Wondering who can "hold" calls?

That number showed up as having called my Google number while I was at work.  No message.  Anybody know who or what this is?

Just got a call at my office from this number..  The recording said "press 1 to speak with someone", so I did.  A lady came on the line asking for someone who doesn't work here.  When I told her that this person doesn't work here, she apologized and said she'd adjust her list..........

I got a call from this number... an operator answered and said they were a calling service for different businesses. Then she asked me if I was such and such name I said no then she asked if I knew them I said no then she said goodbye and called me by another name. I can only conclude they are calling for some bill collectors.

UNKNOWN! CALL! Ask's To Press One" For Represntitive!

Answered the phone, which said "unknown name" on screen.  Voice said, "Press one to speak to a live representative."  I hung up.

This number has called my place of business approximately 50 times since Jan 1, it is a recorded message. If we don't answer, they call back again and again.

I have reported every call to the FTC because we are on the "Do not call" list.

I would like to know who they are so we can send a registered letter telling them to cease and desist or we are going to file legal action.

The call is from Glenwood Springs Colorado, served by Nextel Communications. Here is a link to file a complaint with them. I just did and threatened them with legal action if they didn't stop these people from harrassing me.

yes, this call was from Glenwood Springs Colorado, and when i answered no one replied on the other end....blank for a while, then they hung up. I see the last post was Feb 2011...they must be starting on their spring calling, lol.

Yeah, I don't know if its a debt collector or what, even if you answer the call, press one for the rep, eventually the hold music dies off and nothing happens.  To be honest I would at least like to know the purpose of the call, they've been calling me for months on and off and I can't get to a rep. If I wind up getting sued for something I'm going to refer to their faulty phone system management.

I received the phone call from (970) 987-5250 today; the caller ID showed Glenwood Springs Co.
The recording said "press 1 to speak with someone", so I did.  Female's voice asked for unknown to me name.  When I told her that this person doesn't reside here, she apologized and said she'd adjust her list..........

Received a call from this number, requesting "Press 1 to speak with someone immediately."  It repeated this message three times, and without any action from me it stated "No response was recorded, Goodbye."  I suspect this is some type of collection agency trying a new method of getting people to accept calls, but I really have no idea who this was.

I'm not sure how many times I've received a call from this number. The first time I hung up. But this time time I pressed '1' like the recording instructed. After about a minute it hung up on me. Would love to know what this is....

I just called the number back and got a person and asked them to take me off. They let me know who they were trying to contact and when I told them this was no longer their number they said they would take me off. So hopefully that works.

Got a call from 970-987-5250.  I let the voice mail pick it up.  The 'caller' apparently doesn't like voice mail.  Tough...they want to talk to me (which I doubt), they can leave a message and call back number.  Otherwise, they get to listen to a litany of my voice messages, which for them I will make as obnoxious as possible.
