- JoseCalled my business number. Some scam about being involved in a real estate project. The return number is an 800 number. This sounds like the scam where you aren't really involved in any project but they are trying to sell you space in a booklet to advertise your services (I'm a mortgage broker). I had one of these calls before. the Oregon phone number is likely spoofed.
- Caller: America's Elite Real Estate
- Call type: Telemarketer
- ppThis person call, sounds like from a boiler room. Wants personal information about finances. I think they PMC are
scam companies trying to get money from people who's debts have been repaid by TARP funds.- Caller: PMC
- Call type: Debt collector
- realtorDitto. did not even pick up my phone....
- JThis sounds like the scam where you aren't really involved in any project but they are trying to sell you space in a booklet to advertise your services
- DThis man called the office earlier this morning and asked to speak with my boss that was in a meeting at the time. I asked if my boss could call him back and he said he would try calling back later. He called again this afternoon and my boss knew that he was trying to sell space on a real estate booklet. My boss again was in a meeting and asked me to let him know that he wasn't interested and to ask him to stop calling. So I got back on the line and told the caller my boss wasn't interested and the guy told me that I didn't even know who was calling. I replied and told him that it was the Re/Max guy that had called earlier in the day. He then proceeded to tell me that "he was glad my boss had the balls to say it himself" and hung up on me.

- kk| 1 replyA woman called from this number claiming to be from a local elementary school. This is not an Arizona number. Then she stated they were putting together advertising packets to send home with the kids and it would be a great opportunity for our business. Said they were looking for local fitness and dance studios. Informed her that we closed the studio and currently only do in home pole dancing parties and did not feel it was appropriate to advertise through an elementary school and I hung up. We get these every so often but usually they are actually from a local school. This one obviously is not. Other sites report they sometimes claim to be from a local real estate company but will not give their name or call back number, others claim to be from a local school.
- Caller: local elementary school. no name given
- Call type: Telemarketer
- MaryKeeping getting a call from this number on my cell. The only message they leave is to call him back he gives the number but no name. Will never call them back. I know it is a scam. Blocked the number.

- JDCalled my business number. This sounds like a scam about being involved in a real estate project with Kelly Williams. They are trying to sell you space in a booklet to advertise your services for $375 annually, with promise to put your info into 4000 real estate folders. Do not trust! Too many cheaters around!!

- LCalled and left a message saying they were from High Rise Realty, guy named Chibani(?). Said he found my business on a site I advertise on for pet sitting and wanted to see about a pet sitting business opportunity. I feel like I heard a pet sitter tell me about some scam like this a few years ago so decided to do a little phone number look up...and here I found all this site. Glad I looked. I don't have time to waste with crap like this.
- Caller: HighRise Realty??
- BillJeremy from PMC called my business number about being involved in a real estate project with a local Counselor Realty office here in MN. They are trying to sell you space in a booklet to advertise your services. I called the Counselor Realty office they know nothing about it.
- Caller: PMC / Production Media Co / Counselor Realty?
- Call type: Telemarketer
- BobA marketing company that said it was hired by a local school and doing a flyer for them. Problem is the school isn't anywhere near us.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- TomI just got a call from this number and the guy was looking for some guy called Mark. After I told he he had the wrong number he stayed persistent about if I was telling the truth. From the looks of this thread it seems like the guy was trying to get some follow up on probably a business owner called Mark. Either way guy was a jerk and it sounded like he was in some kind of boiler room or mechanical room.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Rob replies to kkI got the same call just now. After attempting 4 times to get off the phone with the pushy sales lady, I called my kids school and they confirmed that they had hired a company to try and sell space on my kids take home folder. I don't agree with turning our school's into a commercial ether but it was legit.
- cyndiaI got this same call today about advertising in a take home folder for students. The person said his name was Daniel. Thank god I looked it up and found out it was a scam!!
- AshleySGot a call from this number this morning, a Daniel Walsh left me a voice mail. He stated he was calling on behalf of Shadow Park Elementary School. He left an 800 number with a direct extension. I googled the school and it doesn't even exist. Thank goodness I had read these stories, I almost called him back.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- TravisI got a message from them saying that they wanted an insurance company to work with for the year. I could hear all the noise and commotion in the background. Sounds like they are selling advertising for a variety of groups / publications. Not interested.
- Caller: Media Production Company
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Gary CGot a call / voicemail from this number. I am an attorney and they claimed to need an attorney to help them wrap up a project with a local elementary school. Seems sketchy. I am not calling them back as they didn't identify themselves other than by his personal name and I do not practice school district law. After seeing the other posts from many different types of businesses, I am certain it was some sort of scam / telemarketer.
- omgCaller says she/he wants to talk with you about a project relating to your line of business and calls on behalf of local schools selling ad spaces in school homework folders. Says to call back right away as ad spaces are filling up quickly. Then doesn't even tell the schools they are calling on behalf of, that they are soliciting ad space for $375 a year. A total scam. Do not fall for it!
- Caller: Production Media Company and School House Folders
- ChadtI got a call from this number. The guy claimed he was from a local Coldwell banker office and even stated the street the office was on. He wanted some information from me so they could refer all there business my way. I'm buddies with the Owner of Coldwell so I put the guy on hold, Called my buddy and he didn't know anything about it. I kept him on hold and after several minutes he finally hung up. I figured the longer he was on hold with me, was that much more time he wasn't scamming another business.
- Caller: unknown name of real company
