Called me today and hung up.

The number called me at work.  I typically don't answer unless I know who it is.

That stupid 'cardholder services' call again.  They used to call from a different number and now they're calling from this one.  Something really needs to happen to shut this scam down.

Now they are calling on my cell phone.  Did not answer since
caller was not identified.  Other comments posted here affirmed my
suspicions that it was telemarketer.

Some young woman just called me a few minutes ago on my cellphone from 971-220-1011. When I answered and said "Hello" ,she said "Uuhhhhh ,sorry I must have the wrong number."
It's weird that a telemarketer would say that.

Received a phone call from this number, as well as many others, from a company offering to lower my interest rates on my credit cards.  Except for this one, all the other numbers rang back as disconnected or not in service, so this company is duping their ANI (caller ID) to avoid being caught and shut down.  When I first started receiving these phone calls I didn't even have credit cards, and originally, I just pressed the button it says to press if you want to be removed from their list, yet I still received their calls, so I then pressed the button for the operator, and asked how they obtained my number.  The operator stated that they received my number from my credit card companies, because "the credit card companies recognize that my accounts have been in good standing, and want to help me lower my rates."  Mind you, I didn't even have credit cards at the time, and I mentioned this to them, but the response I got was a very rude "Well, someone in your household has credit cards that they have been using."  ...These people called my cell, not a household number.  I then explained that my number is on the National Do No Call Registry, and asked to be removed from their list, and they said they would put me on their do not call list, but that my number had recently expired from the Do Not Call Registry.  After I hung up with them, I checked the Do Not Call Registry's website, and my number is still active; what's even better is that it states that numbers don't expire from the list, so these people are liars.  I continued to receive phone calls, so I decided to try pressing the button for my number to be removed again...no luck, as I still received calls.  These phone calls resulted in them hanging up on me when I asked who they were, and why they continue to call me after I asked them to remove me.  On one occasion, I decided to play their game; if they're going to waste my time with their unwanted calls, I was going to waste their time.  I asked for an operator, and played right along, giving them a fake name and everything, which went on for like 5 minutes or so with different yes/no questions and them telling me about their service (all the while never mentioning the name of their company), until we got to the question "about how much would you say you have in credit card debt?"  My response to this question was "I don't have any credit cards."  All I heard next was a grunt sound, as if they were disgusted, and the click of them hanging up the phone.  These people are rude and inconsiderate, so I decided that the next time I received a phone call from these people, I was going to be just as rude to them.  Today I received the call, and asked for an operator.  When the operator came on, I proceeded to state "You're a f*&king piece of Sh@t!"  The operated then stated back to me "I'm sorry, you must think this is your dad calling."  I'm SOOO over these people calling me, and yet, what I don't understand is that these people are clearly Americans (based on the fact that they have no accents, speak perfect English, and the numbers they use are US numbers), yet I have been receiving these phone calls for months now, and they are still operating.  Why have these people not been shut down yet?!  Today I placed a 2nd complaint to the FCC about them.

Got a call from this number today on my cell phone and when I answered the call, they hung up.

971-220-1011 just called my CELL ... how do we stop them?  It's a ruse to get your credit card APR down but is some kind of debt consolidation company.

Just got a call on my cell also.  I will DEFINITELY do what you did and mess with them and WASTE THEIR TIME!

But ... I didn't answer this call ... do they stop calling if you don't answer??

I just missed this call on my cell, no vm left. I'm on the do not call registry and have no credit cards.

got a call from 971-220-1011, don't know who it is or what for , did not return call!!

Answered my cell phone (without looking at the incoming number) as I was expecting a return call from my work.  After I answered  "Hello", an apparent recorded message began about reducing my credit card interest rate.  I then promtly hung up.

I had this phone# 971-220-1011 call my cell phone this morning early around 8:30am.  When I answered it was a robo call saying my credit card was in good shape but trying to sell refinancing.  I hung up.  How in the heck can I block this from my cell phone.  Seems these "no call" lists do NOT work.

I live in Washington state.

Called me this morning on my cell and woke me up.  I did not answer and they did not leave a message.  This is the first time I have ever received a call from this number.  I also have my number on the National Do Not Call List.  Maybe they got a copy of the list somehow...!!!

The call my cell too and then hung up as soon as I asked to be taken off thier list.  I immediately blocked their phone number from Verizon and then sent a compliant to abuse@pacwest.com who is the carrier for that phone number (971) 220-1011.  I suggest you all doing the same
