Same Shxt, Different Day. Same credit card scammers, morphing their numbers again, in violation of the National and Texas DO NOT CALL LISTS. They also call from THESE morphed numbers, too: 727-674-9999 919-375-1252 701-661-1003 425-390-8157 682-738-3403 971-217-9513 321-305-9999 503-563-0081 971-220-1771 253-246-8570 503-457-1819 443-602-3717 203-584-5201 971-220-1429

Called 11:20 AM CST - left message, missed first part as they started talking when voicemail answered not when voicemail started recording.
told me they had sent several notices (they hadn't sent anything) and that this might be my last notification (lets hope so) and something on interest rates ...
skipped to end of message and deleted.
Standard phishing scam where they say they have an issue about your credit card or such or can reduce your rate on your card, but note that they never say which card they are calling about (because they don't have a clue who you are or what you have for credit).

Just gat ANOTHER call. They call repeatedly at any time of day or evening.  Use a caller ID that is misleading to appear to be legitamet credit card company: credit card services, card services or services.  Uses auto dialers so about half the time there is no caller to talk to, just another hangup. The message specifies a debt requirement as low as $3000 (varies with the call) to reduce your interest rate and that this is your last chance and you will not be called again (even though they have been calling for over a year) and gives no option to opt out or be removed from the call list.  The only option provided is "press one to talk to a representative".   When there is a representative available he/she ONLY asks if you want to reduce your credit card interest rate and does not give you any option to be taken off the call list.  If you give any answer, comment, or request other than "yes", you are hung up on.   I asked again to speak to a supervisor and was promptly hung up on again.  Obviously this is a deceptive organization that uses intentionally deceptive and badgering techniques that will continue harassing anybody and everybody.

I just got a call. A recorded msg tells me they can lower my interest rate on all my credit cards. I must owe at least $3000. Press 1 to talk to the operator. I did. I said that I don't owe $3000. Please take me off the list. He slammed the phone down and hung up on me. I get these calls all the time from these people. This company doesn't give you the option of pressing a button to be removed from their list. I am on the DO NOT CALL list. Why am I being harassed by these companies

They call theirself  credit card  services, which is the same as a legitimate company; However the legitimate company has no knowledge or affiliation

I got this call right now.  I asked to be connected to the representative right away. When I asked him why I was being called despite being on the do not call list, this shady-sounding character immediately hung up.

Do not call lists. To prevent a telemarketer from calling you again, tell the caller to place you on the company's "do not call" list. Federal law requires telemarketing companies to maintain "do not call" lists. This law, however, does not apply to non-profit organizations.

Kill two birds with one stone. When you ask to be placed on a do not call lists, remember to ask the caller if his/her employer conducts telemarketing for other companies. If you want to be placed on their "do not call" lists, say so. Also, if you have multiple phone lines, request that your other numbers be included on the "do not call" lists.

Keep track. Have a notepad by the phone so when you ask to be on a "do not call" list, you can write down the date, the company's name, phone number, and address. You should also ask for the name of the caller and the name of his/her supervisor. Telemarketers are required by law to give this information upon request. If a company calls again after you have asked it not to, note the company name and date.

Follow up. After you have asked to be put on a "do not call" list, you may want to write a letter repeating your request. Keep a copy for your records. This provides further proof of your request.

Rights to sue. If a telemarketing company calls you after you have requested to be placed on its "do not call list," you can sue in small claims court under the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act, Public Law 102-243, for your actual monetary damages or $500 per violation (whichever is greater). Furthermore, your state may give you additional rights against telemarketers.

Taking action. To file a suit, look in the state government section of your phone book for the closest small claims court. It is not expensive, it's designed to be done without a lawyer, and you can usually get your court costs included if you win. You may also wish to file a complaint with the Federal Communications Commission, the Federal Trade Commission, or your state attorney general's office.

Settling. Once you have filed a suit, the company may approach you about settling the case. Feel free to negotiate a settlement. Often, a company would rather pay you than go through the trouble and cost of defending itself in court. Hitting a company in the pocketbook is the best way to stop unwanted calls
