These persistent, annoying calls are unwanted and I would like them to stop,  They concern credit card rates and I do not carry credit card balances, so they mean nothing to me.

They wanted to know if I wanted to lower my interest rates. No, I want their money!

If you want them to stop calling you...SUE THEM! If you are on the DNC and they call then they are in violation of Federal Law! For more information about how to sue them in small claims court check out my blog below. http://telehate.blogspot.com/

These [***] will never let up! Comes up "Lower Interest" on caller ID. They do not respect the law! They spoof the caller ID, so sometimes the number could come like 971-000-1234 for example.

They have been reported repeatedly for making robocalls which are illegal in the U.S. It is possible that these calls are originating outside of the U.S.

I want them to find the rich guy who is running this scam and give him the same treat that we gave Osama Bin Laden.

These people continue to call and harrass.  Also from 360-474-3904, and many other numbers.

Be sure to write down the various numbers attached to each scam recording.

At $1500 PER CALL potential payout, a lawsuit is a good idea  Way to go, Telehate.blogspot.com!  Keep up the good work!

10:37am today they called from 971-220-1787.  I pressed "3" to discontinue the calls.  As I suspected, but hoped not, pressing "3" merely verifies it is a live number.  Less than an hour later they called back:

11:21am today they called from 971-220-1783.

As I noted earlier, they have also called from 360-474-3904 on previous days.  I did not pick up then, but merely screened the call as the answering machine picked up.

Do not pick up the phone for these numbers.  Usually I don't but I had a weak moment of actually believing the 'remove from the list' system might be legit.  Woe to me for my own stupidity.  I will continue to record these phone messages, log them carefully, and plan my lawsuit per the advice of some others here.

Really, phone subscribers need to pressure their providers to stop these calls.  The phone service providers enable these crooks, sell them phone lists, and also limit the ability to block phone numbers so that these scumbuckets get the most hits possible and the recipients of these calls cannot do much about them.

We moved into a number that received up to 17 of such calls a DAY.  We insisted that Comcast change our number at no cost.  They had also published our number without asking us.  We have told them it is our intention to drop our landline completely if they do not find a way to prevent these calls.  It can be done.  A previous phone service provider offered a service that made all callers except for a select few favorites to enter digits by hand to get the call completed... this eliminated all robocalls from ringing and we were not bothered.

Honestly, we are so sick of the criminal cabal corporatocracy that sells out paying customers at every turn, undermines privacy, and generally laughs all the way to the bank.  We citizens really need to start hitting the corporates where it hurts... the bottom line... when they do such things as sell our numbers and info to harrassers.  Oh, and BTW, it is not just limited to corporations...  many state governments sell driver license/registration info to marketers and whomever else!  Amazing but true.  Search on it.

...and while you are searching, search "Stellar Wind" and look for the article in Wired magazine.  Citizens desiring privacy should LOVE that.  LOL.  Good luck.

SCAM ALERT Claimed to represent Visa, Master Card, and Discover (claim made more than once) and said he could tell me which credit card I have an outstanding balance on, then required personal information including my Social Security Number which I wouldn't give him. He then accused me of giving him the run around and told me my correct zip code, and said he has ALL my information right in front of him, so I told him he was the one giving me the run around because I don’t have an outstanding balance! Definite illegal practice by not telling me the real name of the company he was really working for.

I am so sick and tired of this nonsense.  We get up to 5 calls every day from these pests!  There has got to be a way of stopping this.  We are on the do not call list and it doesn't seem to be doing anything.  I have health problems and the constant calls are driving us nuts.

I receive calls from this company wanting me to lower my interest rates.  I do not know who they are, I have not asked them to contact me and want their invasion of my rights and life to stop!  I am on the DNC list which so far has done anything with all the companies constanly calling interrupting my life and time. The calls are against the law so who will take ownership and fine them?  They have no regard for the law or people.
