- AndreaReceived my 2nd phone call from this number tonight! The first call the man yelled at me telling me to pay for a vacation from 4 years ago, or he would sue me. Tonight it was a woman who called, and said to pay $400 for a vacation that I failed take or I would go to collections. I asked for the company "First Class Travel" aka "SunBiz" to send me documentation for what I supposedly signed on by mail, they refused. Instead they gave me their website Firstclasstravelwise.com and expected me to believe they were a legitimate business because of it. I'm going to report them.

- flintwindsorPlease, if you want to stop these guys, you must file on-line or off-line with the Better Business Bureau (http://www.seflorida.bbb.org/BusinessReport.aspx?CompanyID=9002124 or http://www.seflorida.bbb.org/BusinessReport.aspx?CompanyID=92012243) and then with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (http://app1.800helpfla.com/cswebcomplaints/FileComplaint.aspx license number ST36484). I have been investigating these companies and have acquired a lot of information on them. They seem to know how the BBB works and appear to constantly work on getting their rating above F. I have watched their rating change as many as 5 times in one day. Adding your complaint to the BBB may help slow them down. They may insist on handling it outside of BBB, but I would keep it inside of the BBB so they can see what these companies are doing.
The second thing these companies seem to be doing, is pursuing new groups of innocent victims. I have had all of the contacts from these companies listed here contact me demanding payment. They have already accused me of acting fraudulently and told me that I would be turned into collections back in November. I think they know they can get into trouble by submitting these things to collections, because they still haven’t submitted me to them.
I think it is so sad that so many people are paying off these companies and hope others will help fight back and aid the authorities in shutting them down. If you need any help contact me at flintwindsor@gmail.com.- Caller: many

- kWe got a call from this co back in aug of last year. My husband was talked into sending them $238. They sent a package. The terms and conditions were that we had 18 mo to take a trip and this could be extended as many times as we wanted to. It has not even been a year and we got a called on a holiday demanding that we pay them another $650. It will be a cold day in hell before they get anything else from us. Thank God we don't still have the same debit card. We were really worried that this could ruin our credit which is good standing. Now, I know it's a scam.

- EricI had a situation almost identical to k's, but not the part about $238. I was told a year ago my vacations had 18 months to be used, and then indefinitely extended, but they called today to say the package expired last week. Fishy as hell. I was asked to pay $650 to extend it forever, and then a month after I take the vacation, I'd receive that fee back in 3 installments. For the record, I just want to state "What the hell?" and "Why?" Very unfair practices go on through them.

- David Iverson| 1 replyIn Sept of 2008, we purchased a vacation package deal and prepaid for the package. The terms of the agreement are that we must take the trip or extend the package within 18 months. We received a call tonight from a representative who identified themselves as a legal office calling on fraudulent accounts and that we must pay another 600+ dollars since we did not take our trip or extend our package within 12 months. Making a very long story short, I asked them to point me to the place in the contract where it stated that we only had 12 months. He tried a few times to direct me to the spot, and then made the comment that they have several different versions, but insited that we were fraudulent. I then read our agreement to him so he could understand what exactly it is that we bought. Nowhere in that document that I read to him did it support what they were saying to us, but still insisted that we were fraudulent.
I tried calling the numbers back that they called us from, but of course they did not answer as a business on one of them, and the other was a generic voicemail.

Dr. Christopher Greene is the head of this scam and the artist. I just wish a lawyer in Florida would start a class action suit against him and Monica his wife.
Contact Division of Consumer Services 850-488-2221 or file a complaint at http://www.800helpfla.com/travel_text.html - loobilu replies to David Iversonunfortunatley i fear i too have been a victim of this so called holiday company offering a fantastic package over the phone.. i purchased a package and paid 628 english pounds for it , being told i had 18 months to take this holiday, my husband rang them up on the same numbers you have quoted and spoke to the "manager" a michael greene, i think there are at least 4 michaels that work there and again the surname greene pops up?. this manager insisted my husband had to pay a ridiculous price of 2,000 dollars before we were going on holiday we hadnt read our small print, he also spoke of legal action towards us, so after reading all these complaints about this company i have that horrible sinking feeling that we have been scammed also.. the two other michaels i spoke to one with the surname mann, and the other richardson.. told me i didnt have to take the cruise , that i could tailor my holiday as i wished as long as we visited fort lauderdale where the timeshare talk was taking place. they made it sound so easy and welcoming, absolute bull!! i received an email yesterday from them asking me to contact them asap after they spoke to my husband saying there was a problem with my account and it needed to be resoved as soon as possible, i phoned them after the email twice, and emailed them my number but have heard nothing and i could nt get thru to them in usa so left a voicemail. still waiting,so obviously doesnt seem so urgent.. feeling very sick and angry with myself at the moment. for falling for this scam.. for gods sake if anyone gets a call offering you a holiday that seems too good to be true, it is!!..
- DMAC replies to jb| 4 repliesAlso beware that they will claim to be calling from a government agency and the case was given to them to resolve before it is turned over to their lawyers, the collection agencies and then to all three credit company monitors, ie Experion ect.
- aggravated replies to DMAC| 3 repliesreceived a call from "Michael Greene" today (private name private number) saying he was with some gov't agency working on behalf of consumers and that he was required legally to let us know that on last Monday, First Class Travel Wise filed criminal and civil charges against my husband and myself for taking some vacation voucher and never paying for it....I asked for his number and who he was with again. (We're all too familiar with this company)...he tried to give me an 800 number and I told him that we are very familiar with his company's tactics and their rating with the BBB and he hung up on me ....when will these guys ever be STOPPED????? We have filed complaints thru several consumer agencies in Florida, as I know many people have, but it seems to be doing absolutely nothing. I don't understand how these people are STILL scamming and getting away with it.
- damystery1 replies to aggravatedNov. 2010 There appear to be similarities with a Scam scams operating in New Zealand. Received a phone call from a male with an Indian accent claiming to be from Travel wise Holidays, offering vouchers for two weeks holiday throughout Australia for two people for 2 weeks, for a payment of $NZ100. 18 months to use the vouchers. After telling him that I believed it was a scam and he emphaticly tried to tell me it wasn't, I told him I was not interested. He asked if there was any reason why I was not interested..... my reply to which he seemed rather speechless: BECAUSE I HAVE NO INTEREST.
- cs replies to aggravated| 1 replyAll the same happened to me and I paid the darn $433!! I then did more research and realized it was a scam and contacted various agencies. Well, to my surprise, about 4 months ago I was contacted by someone from Florida State Consumer Affairs responding to my complaint and they are pursuing charges. (Yes, I did my research about this response to make sure it was real.) I had spoken to this same person about 1 1/2 years ago when I made my first complaint. He was asking for all the information I had about FCTW and all the corresondence I had with them (emails, phone call, etc) So I mailed them all the info I had. I hope he is really going after these people. Write down and keep all the info you have on these people. This looks like it has slowed down since it first happened to me, so hopefully they will get caught and put in jail for threats and illegal practices. Good luck!
