Called asking for the boss by name. When asked his name and company, he mumbled something very low, made it seem like he was a potential customer. Hung up and then immediately called back. If I was at home, I would never answer :)

This guy Chuck Poe call twice and will not leave a message, just wants to speak to the owner.  After I got tired of his attitude, I told him I was the owner, and to tell his interest with my business.  He stated that it has to do with the day to day operations of the company, and again I asked him the nature of the call.  He said the way I was doing business just cost me business and hung up.  I Googled the number and it is from a company called Generational equity and is a scam.

If he calls, do not talk to him

• Nearly 150 completed transactions in the past 3 years.
• Transactions values ranged between 3X gross revenues to 27.5X gross revenues in 2009 in the worst economy since the Great Depression, including mine.
• The Top Rated M&A in North America for companies with revenues of $1MM to $100MM according to  Thomson Reuters, a third-party reporting agency.
• No outstanding complaints with the BBB.
