They been bugging me for about a week. They never say anything though.
I don't know what kind of scam it is, but it sure has to be a scam!

I've gotten about 16 calls from this number over the past two days. I can't take it anymore.

Yes been calling me and it just won't stop. They don't leave a message either!

I called them back, and they just wanted to keep repeating "Card Services."  Finally, they explained it was for Chase Card Services.

I am a teacher that has had this number phone me relentlessly for 8 days.

they've been calling me for a week!!!today is Sunday and i already got five phone calls!!!!do you think the banks would call you even on Sundays?????

I received 7 attempted calls from this number in one day. They are collections for WAMU/Chase. I've called Chase about it twice and have filed a complaint with the FTC. I  would encourage anyone who is being harassed by Chase to file a complaint at:

Suddenly got six calls from them over a couple of days at my work number. The only business I did with Chase was pay for my son's braces, and that account was paid in full--and completely on time--months ago. I don't understand why they would be calling at all, and if it's legit business why they wouldn't just leave a message.

I guess I need to file a complaint against this company. They know people don't want to take the time and hassle to file so the "No call list" hasn't really done squat. These jerks start dialing at about 7:00am and it goes at least till 10:00pm.

I called Chase and told them that they are going to have a big problem on their hands, as my case of harassment is not isolated. It looks as though they are ignoring the good advice I offered them, as more people are still being harassed. But financial institutions ignoring the law and various regulations is what got them (and all the rest of us) into this economic mess, so I shouldn't expect a leopard to change its spots.

RunsWthSizzor, you should report them. Eventually the FTC will investigate them and this call center will be shut down and Chase will be fined. Chase received 25 billion in federal bailout money, so the last thing they should be doing is  using that money to hire an off-shore group to harass the same people that are paying for a Chase bailout. I'm even more irritated since the US government is the one that sold off WAMU (with all my accounts) to Chase, which clearly lacks ethical grounding.

They are still harassing me, calling every hour. Even after multiple calls to Chase to complain. I answered this number today and told them that I have reported their harassment to the FTC, then they call me two hours later. I will follow up with FTC. Chase must be stopped. This is the US and the laws are very strict here.

hello fellow victims -- i have news for you on how to end unwanted calls from this number.

i received calls on my cell phone at all hours and sometimes within the same hour there were several calls.  i did not answer any of them but the message was a "beep" indicating that the call was recorded and a voice repeating "please hold" followed by an india call center operator saying "hello, hello, this is chase card services and i'm looking for ______".

the person they are trying to find is not me, nor have i ever had any dealing with chase -- or any outstanding debt that chase may have bought.

i called the number back and reached a human -- i told them the following -- and try this yourself:

1) this call is being recorded -- the operator said they could not authorize recording but would transfer to a supervisor

2) to the supervisor : this call is being recorded.  i am returning one of many calls from your organization and you are looking for someone called "_____".  this line is not associated with this person and i am requesting that all calls to this number cease.  the number you are calling is _________.  

although the supervisor made efforts to interject and did not authorize the call to be recorded, she said the number was being removed.  frankly, i did allow her to speak but spoke as though i myself was a per-recorded message.  i spoke slowly, deliberately and clearly.

3) at the end of the call i asked the supervisor to state her full name and spell her last name, which she did.  this step might be best to start with.

my approach is that these folks are "just doing their jobs" -- they are reading from a script and following training.  there is nothing personal about the situation and anyone who wishes the calls to stop needs to use the same approach they are using to end the calls:

record the call

ask for full names

make a simple statement that is impersonal and clear


note that i did not state my own name.

JPMorgan Chase has been calling us for the last 2 weeks (even on Sundays).
They don't leave a message or any other communication. Fortunately, I have the ability (on my Panasonic phone) to block these unwanted calls.

same as avove....number calls multiple times,lets the machine come on but does not leave a message.I have had no business,past or present with Chase so I can't imagine why they would call my number. There are SO many of these numbers that call all day long every day there has to be a way to stop them.

They are not allowed to. If they do, report them to your Attorney General. I did and they stopped calling. Calling you is one thing, hassling is another.

Banking services will not call you requesting payments or account information without already having the account information. I believe this number is associated with an illegal organization. The number is based in Texas but the callers claim to be located in the east asia.  Call these people criminals and tell them you will not give them any information and call them back. Harass them and call them names. They will not call you any more. NEVER give any information over the phone to someone who calls you. Tell them you appreciate the call and you will contact the account services through the number provided on your bill. Be rude to these people and they won't waste their time attempting to scam you.

This is an unsolicted phone number that keeps calling me. My phone is on the National "Do Not Call" Registry... how does this keep happening? What the heck is the purpose of a "PRIVATE" phone if it's not PRIVATE!!!???

Received call at 12:30pm (EDT) 1022/11.
Left voicemail, there was a long airy silence, then a young woman's voice said "[my first name]?"
Then she hung up.
