These people are RUDE, they call up asking for somebody and before you can get out your sentence they hang up on you. No wonder Chase has such a BAD name in the credit card business.

If this is truly Chase, then they should identify themselves as Chase instead of demanding my 16 digit account number, or asking for my social. I don't even have an account with Chase. And I am NOT giving out my social.

Someone w/this number called my house at 7:55 p.m., 7:33 p.m. and 2:31 p.m. today.  No message was left during the first call, however, the SAME woman left messages on the second and third calls.  The woman was soft spoken and I could detect a slight accent.  If I had to guess, I would say she was Asian.  The woman repeatedly said, "Estelle", "Estelle", sometimes mispronouncing my name.  Oddly, the woman never made reference to my LAST name, identify herself, mention she is with Chase Bank, leave a contact number or make reference as to why she was calling.  Perhaps I'm being overly cautious but my gut feeling says something is not quite right.  Finally, I have never been referred to by my first name by any bank with the exception of a friendship I established with a Wells Fargo teller years ago.

It is chase, and these rude [***] people are in India. They said they work for chase but then they want your account number. Why would I give a total stranger my account number? Chase is by far the biggest piece of [***] on the mountain of [***] that has become are banking system. They just recieved a huge bailout of my money, so they can outsource their collections. I end up have to pay my credit card balance twice to these scum bags. All because of our out of control, selfsevering, socialist government. I'm sick of this [***], and we the people are going to put a stop to this, and burn every [***] bank to the ground! We should all be up in arms over this historic [***] we're getting from the people we elected to represent us. Do you feel represented?

    Beware calls from this number!
I've been getting calls from this number on both my home and cell phone for the past week, at least 6 times a day.  I finally called back after seeing the above comments and sure enough, they first id themselves as "credit card services," and when questioned as "JP Morgan Chase credit card services."  Then they asked me if I have a chase account and for my account number, and when I asked why they were calling and that I wasn't about to give them my account number because they should already have it, she asked me for my SS#.  I said no way and that I would just contact Chase directly.  I spoke to Michelle in the security department at Chase and she said this number IS NOT affilliated with them in any way, so if they call you, please DO NOT give them any information.

This number has already called me three times between last night and today. I have not picked up, as I do not recognize the number and they do not leave a message. I might pick up though, after reading these comments (and several on other sites).

A male by the name of Hosay (not sure of spelling) called and asked for my SS#, DOB, and home address.  When I asked to speak with a manager, he asked if I had a specific reason why I wanted to speak to a manager.  I persisted and he then transferred my call into a message cycle machine where a Mary answered who prented herself as the manager. The area code of the number indicates that the call was made from Texas.  Beware and do not give your SS#, DOB, or addresses under any circumstances.  This is a fraud organization and they will be investigated!

I simply typed in the number and found this webpage, so I thought I would share with you what I have done. The day PeeLowSee stole our tax dollars to save wallstreet and bury detroit I stopped paying every single credit card bill I have and I stopped paying my mortgage to BofA.
Everytime they call me, I say, "You got paid already. Just take some of those billions you got for free and apply it to all of my accounts. Then, send me the deed to my home."
I have not paid a bill in 5 months and guess what? I'm still living in my home and my credit cards still work...
I will continue to live in my house until they take it and I will continue to max out my cards until they freeze them and then, I'll simply move to california, punch a politician in the face and go to state prison where I can free health care, free dental, free cable, free internet and free room and board. Life is good folks. Life is good.

My Chase payment was a week late when the harassment began... They call me, get my voicemail, put me on hold while my voicemail is recording, and then someone comes on repeatedly saying my name and "hello... hello..." This happens anywhere between 6 and 11 times a day.

They called over 10 times all day on a Sunday, but will not leave a message.  When I finally did aswer ater the fifth call they did not identify themselves they asked for my husband by his first name as if they were a close aquaintance.  I let her know he was not available at this number and they proceeded to call 5 more times, no message was ever left.  When I called back they identified themselves as Chase.

this number just began harassement last week. i am pretty familliar with incoming calls from sallie mae. so, familliar i knew this number was not sallie mae.

the phone calls now from both parties call me from 7a.m-10 pm 7 days a week.

i refuse to pick up! for sallie mae because its an automated system that calls and when i pick up they put me on hold.

never picked up this number and now i know never to pick it up.

earlier this year i had extra money to pay off bills. after paying everyone one over my monthly payments and getting on track.

months later my son and i became homeless and broke. because i invested what i i had into being a good citzen and paying bills that are all over 50% of what i had borrowed or asked for at the time of agreement.

i know now i will never put me and my son in this situation.

i dont ever want to be affiliated with another bank again!!

My dream of owning a house one day is dead.

I have been receiving about 1-3 calls a day on my home phone and 10 on my cell phone from this number.  I have not answered, and they have not left a message.  After reading these comments, I contact Chase- because we have a credit card with them (used to be WaMu- would never choose to align with Chase), and they said this is a fradulent number.  I filed a do not call complaint as my numbers are all registered, and this number is not affliated with Chase and has no right to contact me.  My husband and I have been in the practice of asking for everything in writing, and giving nothing over the phone, unless we have contacted the company directly.  This has so far prevented us from being scammed upon or having someone steal something that is not theirs.
