My husband has gotten several calls from this number, and 972-655-5213, in the last week or so on his cell phone.  We answered one time and it was a recorded voice offering a new credit account with an unspecified bank (I assume now from this thread that it was Citigroup).  The calls have continued to come at various hours and only one message has been left (a recording that was not designed for voice mail).

Citibank takes care of billing for many commercial accounts.  They bill for Staples (office supplies) Exxon Mobil (gas card) Shell (gas card) and a lot of Department Stores that issue credit cards.  So, if you get a call from this number, 972-655-5214, it is not necessarily for the citi credit card itself, but could be for one of the other companies that they do the billing for.  I just got a call about my Staples charge account that is 6 days late.
