Just got one today about 3:15pm. No VM left. Has to be a telemarketer or similar...

Got one today at 15:23 EST.  I never answer numbers I don't recognize.  Blocked it.

I answered and it was an Indian man with a strong accent saying I won a trip because I filled something out in a store, though he could not tell me the store.
He went on to give me 2 vacation choices, one was 3 day trip to anywhere in the US basically and the other was 4 nights cruise. When he ask my age I gave him an incorrect age and he said he has to pass this onto his manager and then he went away. I assume they have me on file.

I think this is linked to the Caribbean cruise scam.

My wife and I on separate cell phone numbers just got one today, and we almost immediately hung up on them because you could pretty much tell that they were telemarketers or scammers.  For me, a lady stated "How are you, this the assistant manager from Worldwide Travel".  For my wife, a man said something about our application or something.

Received a call, no answer.

Got a call from an indian man saying he was calling from Nashville, knew this was falls cause Dallas, tx showed up on my caller id. Told me i has filled out and application at the mall, i said no cause i never fill out stuff lime that. He said it was probably a long time go and i had forgotten. I just said no this is a scam calling and he got upset and said no its not. I just hung up. They never called again.

same thingabout telemarketer. Indian andeverything. best part was when I said I wasn't interested in a vacation package. She said "then why did you fill out the application?"

Just got a call from this number. No one replied when I said, "Hello?"

I also got one at 9:50 a.m. on 5/21--no voicemail...i agree that it's no one we want to talk to...

Just got a call from this number - man with indian accent -  saying I won a trip from an app I filled out at the mall.  That is a bold face lie since I don't go to the mall that often and DO NOT register for this stuff.  Total scam. I told him I hadn't and to loose my number and he hung up.   Most likely scammers... get a life numb nuts.

I never answer these long distant numbers, i finally did and no answer, line just ends call. I thought this was a technique the tele marketing companies used to separate the live numbers from the dead end numbers. I could be wrong but I suggest no one picks up long distance numbers unless they are known to you.

just got a call. never answer calls that are not on my list. left no VM. AC is from Texas and I do not have any connections there.

Man identified himself as Mark with Worldwide Travel and wanted to discuss a travel package with me.  I informed him I am registered with the National Do Not Call Registry and he is committing a crime by calling me.  I told him I am going to report this call.  He hung up.  Caller ID is a Texas number.  At least once a day I receive this call from similar Texas phone numbers.  I block these calls and apparently they make slight changes to their number to avoid blocking.  Very annoying.

just received a call from someone claiming to be with Worldwide Travel and that I had won a trip that I registered for long time ago. First off this call came to my cell phone and I never ever use my cell phone when entering anything should I.
Second my cell phone is on the DO NOT CALL LIST. Let the sob talk then didn't answer questions and he hung up.

It's a scam.

I have gotten two calls from this number; yesterday and today. I never pick up calls I don't recognize.  Will be adding this number to the "blocked" list!
