I got a call from this number. They didn't leave a message. Don't know who this is either.

Got a call from this number and the voicemail was an Indian man saying he was calling from a doctors office. He said they needed to verify employment and insurance information.

Indian man asking for workers comp information.  Caller ID shows Cognizant Techn

They just called my office, caller id :Cognizant Techn, some  indian guy says he's calling from dr Lydia's office. he's name is abraham. he said he is calling from california zip 95926. I questioned him little bit, he is pretty silly, just a spam call to get your info.

Called my work number at 9:15, and was transferred to my extension. The lady said she was calling to verify my job title and employment.....Who speaks to the employee directly to verify anything???? I told her no and that I have not applied for any credit so there is no need for me to give her that info- She said ok thank you and hung up......Makes me nervous that my life is about to be hacked!

Received a call form (973)368-9600 (NJ) in the AM and didn't answer twice. They leave a 2 sec. silent email.
Both times, minutes later, my ex-employer called me to say they called them to verify my employment. So, as soon as I don't answer they call my old work, trying to find me. The second time they called, they posed as a company staff member for a company I used to work with. They know too much about my life obviously and I don't know how.

An Indian man called from this number at the business I manage asking to speak to an office manager, my sales rep said it was for me, he then again asked for an office manager once I answered.  He said he was calling from One Call Care Management (which is an insurance company we deal with for one of our patients) requesting our updated liability insurance information as it expires on March 24th.  He gave me a fax number: 877.431.9058.  I have not sent him any information.

I received a Call from the Number 973 368 9600 ( Its showing New Jersey ) but i missed this call , when i am calling back to this number its saying welcome to Cognizant Hyderabad and asking me to dial a Extn Number .but i don't know what to dial.its then getting disconnect .pls. help me who called me and how i can reach who called me

My company uses Cognizant Technology Solutions for some outsourced IT work. I got a call for a problem the other day and this is the number that came up on my phone. They must all route their calls from India through the single number.

woman stated her name was christine and she spoke with a heavy indian accent.  she referred to me as the patient and stated that she referenced the local hospital and physician office.  worrisome

Someone called me from a (973)368-9600 his name is Max Smit and said that I had an outstanding balance for Northside Hospital Emergency services of $1,084.00. I went nuts because this balance had settled out last year for a workers comp accident through an attorney. Told him I needed his info and I will have my attorney call him immediately. He gave me another call back number & his info, (724)821-9000 Ext#: 681705, said he will call me back later or tomorrow. I called my attorney and said that they won't answer the number dials then it hangs up and doesn't allow for her to leave a VM. I also tried calling and I pressed "0" for the operator... some Indian guy answer, not sure if he spoke English or not because he was not understanding anything i said when I asked who the hell they were he immediately hung up. I called Northside Hospital directly and they told me they did NOT have any balance and not sure who they are but they were going to address it. Gave them that funny guys number & info.
Ugh, HOW THE HELL DID THEY COME ABOUT GETTING MY INFORMATION DAMMIT.?!?!?? dare to call me again and I'll give you a peace of my mind. DON'T GIVE OUT YOUR INFORMATION WITHOUT DOING YOUR RESEARCH!!! BEWARE!!!

Called at 10:39 PM.  I didn't recognize area code so didn't answer.  They didn't leave a message

Got a call from this number. Indian sounding man on the phone saying he's calling from "the healthcare company" regarding my worker's comp claim. I named the company my self-insured employer uses and he says, "Oh yes. May I have your SSN?" I grilled him as to why he needed that and he got a little pushy. "I need to finish filling out all the papers. Give it to me now." I told him I will deal with that through my employer and not to call back. He sounded sincere when he apologized, but then so did the Indian man on the phone who scammed my mom last year. I would like to know how scammers find out about something like a worker's comp claim. Is none of our information private anymore?

Okay guys, seriously, this phone number is from Cognizant which is in India and many companies outsource and use them for call center work, insurance, IT helpdesk, etc.  Offshore accounts.  I know even CVS Caremark does some business with them.

I got a call from this number and chose to let it go to voicemail. They didn't leave a message. The number called again less than 5 minutes later and I decided to answer after reading this thread. I said "Hello?" and a lady with an Indian accent on the other end said "Hello?" then nothing. I said "Hello?" again and she hung up on me. Weird.

Called multiple times from this number the past few days and no message ever left.

I work for local government and just received two calls within seconds of each other from the 973-368-9600 number but I was already on the telephone so I pushed it to my voice mail.  They stayed connected long enough to listen to my VM message then hung up on one of the calls but hung up before it got to where you can leave a message.  I could hear a lot of noise in the background for the .02 seconds one of the calls was connected then it hung up.

Called 10/18 @ 9:22. I didn't pick up, they didn't leave a message
