called 3 times in last hour and a half.  quiet for about 5 seconds then an automatic recording says: "good-bye"

called about 5 times in the last hour....nobody there and just a beep saying goodbye.

Be very wary claimed to be from windows saying my computer had numerous errors on it and windows would be locked off i hung up

Indian-sounding voice claimed to be from windows. I strung them along for a while and then told them I was on a mac and don't use windows.He quickly told me it was a wrong number.

Some Mexican sounding guy keep calling had it out with them

I live in Eastern Ontario, Canada - got a call from this number today claiming that they were from Windows and my computer had a virus. Told him (Indian sounding man) that I would call the police.

Called 3 times.  Last time I answered.  silent for a few seconds, then says goodbye.

Claimed to be from microsoft..needed to help me. I told them I run linux and hung up

Called 3 times in 2 hours. Answered 1st time; pause asked for person in home. Said they were not home. Paused again and then hung up. 2nd time didn't answer. 3rd time said they were from Microsoft and I had problems with my computer ( I hung up)

Guys sounded Indian.

Same as others.  Indian sounding woman.  Said my computer is infected.  Played along for a while then hung up.

Just received call from Indian sounding guy too.  Same story.  He said I was a registered Microsoft User and my computer had a virus and there were hackers trying to get into my computer.  He wanted me to boot up my computer and I said "Ah, I don't think so" and I  hung up. I didn't tell him I was an Apple user.  That was none of his business!  Who is this guy anyway!

Many calls today....one went through and it was a man with an Indian accent, supposedly from Microsoft,  wanting to talk to me about my microsoft computer.  Well...I haven't had one in over 35 years...he hung up.

Indian sounding man saying he was from Microsoft, calling about my computer.  Told him #1, I don't have a computer. ..#2, I'd be reporting him. He said "And #3, you're a c¥nt!" And hung up on me. I have since received no less than 10 calls from the same number (and then remembered I could put them on a "reject call" list. ..duh! Haha! )

Had a call this morning from this number and no spoke. They just hung up. beware
