Telemarketer - number disconnected if you try to call back.

Scammers!
Their goal is to get you to allow remote access to your computer, get you to give you credit card info to fix problems (that don't exist) and rip you off.
Their persistence is amazing. They will call again and again.

DO NOT FOLLOW THEIR INSTRUCTIONS!!  DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER!!  THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!!!  These jack-wads call nearly daily!!!  They are trying to get my poor mom, who is 79 years old and knows nothing about computers, to turn it on and mess with the settings or some such nonsense.  They say they are authorized by Microsoft Windows. She tells me that they say that her computer was sent a message and that they need to fix it.  Funny thing is, she doesn't even own a computer and she has told them that repeatedly, every time they call!  It is ridiculous!  DO NOT FOLLOW THEIR INSTRUCTIONS!!  DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER!!  THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!!!

How can we get them to stop calling!!  This is total b/s and the government should be able to stop companys like this from harassing citizens.

And how can they call from a disconnected #?!?!

this # calls once a day if call back its not a working # and its sad when your on the do not call list just about to get rid of the phone it gets old everyday

I get 3 or more calls per day and they hang up on maching.  says TX call.  
They s tart calling very  early in the morning and  then all day long

This number has called several times, no one speaks and if you wait for a short while you hear a recorded voice saying "goodby."
Very annoying, no easy way to block it.
Being on the "do not call list" is a joke, there is no governmental means of enforcing the law, so the scammers and con-artists use robot calling systems to call every number until they connect with an unsuspecting victim.
The MicroSoft scam is the most persistent and they put up a good front - quoting web pages, actual MS phone numbers for support, etc. Don't fall for it, none of the MS applications, especially the Operating System (Win7,8, etc.) will contact MS and notify them that you have a problem on your computer.

Microsoft will not call you - do not follow their instructions!! Do not give them your credit card number!! They are scammers!!!!

I always tell them that I do not have a computer.

Another call that never says a thing, just eventually hangs up.   Had another one that was
503 616 9186, local, that did the same thing.   3-4 times a day.   No longer answering.
And no it does no good to go through comcast to "block" the calls.    Their attempt to help is a joke.
Operator, same joke.   No one can seem to do a thing.   There has been a call from people trying
to tell me my computer is broken....he once got nasty....very nasty.....don't answer that one
anymore either.  Does no good to tell the non-English speaking callers to stop calling or that you
don't have a computer.   They keep calling.

Hey I got that call and they said everything y'all said. But I didn't give my card number but my computer won't come on. I think I have to take it to my computer person.

I see they call all day long on my caller id. When I answer, no one speaks. Very annoying.

Call showed up as a Texas number.  No one there.  When I said, "Hello Texas" an automated message said, "Good Bye."  Also received a call like this from New Jersey and New York this week claiming they are Microsoft.

Just got a call from Texas with this number.. An Indian guy wanting to speak to my mom also about her computer.. I just played him off.
