This number, 979-845-0425, has started calling me and I don't know who it is, so I don't answer! Please stop calling!

This person has called me twice  I answered once but the caller hung up

I got a call from this number but my phone only rang once.  I went to Texas A&M which is located in this area code, so I suspect it may be from them.  No message.

Caller ID = TAMU, College Station, TX

It is Association of Former Students at Texas A&M University - don't know why they are calling unless looking for $$$.
I ain't got none, so I won't answer.

9798450425 called my house quite often, they never said anything when I answered the phone.  Phone ID only shows
the tel# but not company name.  Why don't they show the business name when they called? I don't understand

Number is listed in Bryan, not College Station. They had an old address of mine, but called on a number that should not be in any TAMU info bank. They wanted to update my info. I questioned this stating I'm not giving any info out to someone I don't know. They gave me the site aggienetwork.tv/call center.html  Think I'm going there? Obviously third party set up. Call me paranoid, but does not sound legit!

9798450425 calls my a few times a week and when I answer they hang up...  I don't get it.

I believe the reason there is no one there when this number calls is because it is coming from a fax from the engineering department.

I have received a couple of hangup calls from this number and "blank" VM messages. Caller ID just listed the number and College Station; my research shows its from a fax number in the TAMU Engineering Dept.

Interestingly enough, all of these calls were received from 8pm-9pm or early in the AM, around 7am, before and after normal university office operating hours. If this is the alumni office, I'm confused, as I did not attend TAMU; the alumnus in the family is my husband, who did graduate from the Engineering school; I merely lived in CS  while he attended school. There should be no way someone, at that office, would have my current cell number; it has changed at least 4-5 times over the past 17 years.

This behavior leads me to be suspicious; I would be hesitant about going to any websites and certainly would not give anyone any updated personal "information", especially SSN (if really legitimate TAMU personnel, they should already have this!) or credit card info for "dues",etc!

Just got a call from this number but no message.  I am an Aggie (not from the Engineering Department) and it seems that most others on this list are - or have ties to B/CS.  That seems odd.  It's also odd that nobody from A&M should have my current phone number...

The Phone # is not from the Engineering Dept. at TAMU it is from the Association of Former Students at Texas A&M. The building with the giant Aggie Ring in the plaza (think: Ring Day) not a scam, its just the the AFS raises funds for A&M but is not technically a university building.

This number has called several times, but never left a message.

I'm in Ohio and have no connection to Texas A and M. Not sure why I'm getting calls.

I just got a call from this number and recognized the area code as the Bryan/College Station area. However, I didn't catch the call in time and they didn't leave a message. I have been called in years past and I think they left a message. I have also been called and answered (don't remember if the number was the same) and donated, so I sure hope it's legit. In the last couple of years, I have gotten so many scam phone calls of all kinds that I'm hesitant to answer a number not in my contacts and hesitant to give out information over the phone.

Calls every day even though I'm on the "No Call" lists. I say "Hello" and then nothing but air. REALLY TIRED OF THIS CRAP!! Government needs to put a stop on these robo calls.

My caller ID says Debt Collector, so I was cautious when I picked up. The caller says he is from Texas A&M Alumni and would like to update my info. I told him I have no time for that because I bet it is fraud. Be careful!
