I got a call from this # today 11/3.  I did not answer and they left a message stating they were calling from the Carlson lawfirm and there was a lawsuit against me.  They clearly stated my social security # and said that my license could be revoked.  It sounded from an outsource group.  I believe this is a scam.

Yeah I got the same message from a person i could barely understand.. Time to change the number I guess!

I got a call from this guy 11/17 stating he was from the dept of education and said he had all my info too and that I was in grave danger

I just got a call and he tried to speak English but didn't do a very good job of it,  He said something about me being in big trouble, I thought it was a child making a prank!! I don't know what they wanted or even who there representing ,

I received two phone calls today back to back from a man that also barely spoke any english. He left me a voicemail stating that he was calling from Stan Morgan (I think?) and that I had a lawsuit filed against me and my social security number, and that it was very important I call back asap. I returned the call about an hour later and I couldn't understand a thing the guy was saying, he just kept saying that there was a lawsuit out for me and that I took an internet loan out from "Cash Net Marketing, Advance Internet Loan"..I tried to ask questions and he just kept repeating that, then started yelling it at me adding on "HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU?!". I told him I couldn't understand him and that the call was ridiculous and dragging out entirely too long without him providing me any actual information, and asked if there was someone else I could speak to. Another man came on the phone that spoke a little bit clearer and was saying the same things. I told him I had no idea what he was talking about or who that company was, and asked what the alleged amount was I supposedly owed, he said $696. I asked him if he could provide me a phone number to this company and he said "No, we handle the case now, so your questions come to us". I told him that if I supposedly took a $700 loan out from an internet company, surely they had a phone number that I could reach them at. He just kept repeating himself and I started laughing at this point. He angrily said "Why are you laughing?!" and I told him that he was ridiculous and to never call my phone number again. He then screamed "[***] YOU" at me, and I hung up.

I'm not sure where they got my phone number from because I live in TN, but FYI!

Someone called our office from this number and stated there was a lawsuit, etc. guess he was calling from Mars because nothing he said was understandable!!

I got a call from this 979-871-8770 today 11/28.  I answered and the girl calling spoke with a thick Indian accent I explained that she needed to get someone who spoke better English, a man came on the phone with a very thick Jamaican accent - This is the 2nd time this guy has called me this year.  TOTAL SCAM   Carlson law firm and there was a lawsuit against me and my social security number.  I told them that they needed to send me paper work to prove I owed anyone anything and if they didn't remove my name and number from their list I would call 911.  Then I hung up.

Same Thong happened to me, this threading and bullying of information is dangerous.. I hope no one calls and gives their information!

Wow, am I ever glad I googled this number.  I was FREAKING OUT ... I didn't answer the call because I was on another line at the time, but some girl left a voicemail message stating that she was looking for (my name - sorta) and that she had my social security number, she worked for Kassas Law Firm (anyway that's what I heard) and that if I didn't call back within 40 hours (how weird is THAT) that she would see to it that I LOST my JOB .... LOL ... I've worked for myself, owned my own company for 22 years.  But, you never know!  So, I tried calling back and got a message (man's voice) to LEAVE A MESSAGE AT THE TONE ... so I left a message!  Ha ha ha I hope they understand English better than they speak it!  And slang, as well.  Thanks for your posts - at least I won't be losing any sleep tonight

I received a threatening voice mail from this company today stating I was being sued.

Thank God I'm not the only one. Pretty much same thing as above- stating there was a lawsuit against me and if I didn't return her call "I would be in big trouble". Challenging that would be since I could barely understand a word of what she was saying. I really wonder what they are trying to get out of these calls?

I also got the same message left on my phone, a woman, couldn't understand her very well.

I too received this call today, and the woman left a voice mail.  Same story as the others, I played the VM twice, and still could not understand her.  I have a difficult last name to pronounce, and she massacred it, so I knew it was a scam or telemarketer.

I started getting calls from this number and several others about two months ago, and they would call constantly. I finally broke down and changed my cell number about a month ago, but then today they have started calling me at work and told me that they are going to keep calling until I either get fired or pay them $500. Every phone at work then started to constantly ring for over an hour filling up all of the lines.I'm filing a report with the local police and opening a lawsuit.

I live in TN also.  I wonder what company has given away our information.

Something is fishy.  I didn't return the call because just like most of you guys the same details.  I knew it couldn't be real because he indicated I would be in big trouble if I didn't call I was going to be in big trouble.  I wonder who gave away our information?  And I wonder how many people have paid them just to get them off of their backs....

Just received a call from this scam. Asked for my SS# they supposedly had. Transferred to a supervisor who told me they were from carson law firm and that I owed 696 dollars from some loan as i have taken no loans for over 10 years i laughed and told him he had no information and it was a scam he decided to call e a Mother F*er...So I told him I hoped that a drone destroyed his village...then hung up :)

I received a mesage from a gentleman ON 12/15/11 stating that I needed to call them inregards to a law suit. When I returned the call and told him who I worked for they just HUNG up on me. lol YOU CAN'T FIX STUPID!
