Who is calling?

I wish they would quit calling.  They never talk just catch the answering machine. Needs to be stopped.

Children's cancer recovery. Just *67 then dial the number. Simple as that. if you wish to donate, just ask them for their mailing information.

A woman called from this number and asked for me by my first name, all friendly as if she knew me intimately. My wife answered and the woman refused  to say who she was or what it was about. My wife was in tears imagining all sorts of issues. You ring back following the caller ID and get a recorded message inviting you to give your number and name otherwise they won't talk to you. Obviously you never confirm to a Spamster that the  details they have about you are correct because valid contact details are a marketable commodity to other Spamsters

I also have been getting calls from this number ( 980-613-4480 )and some woman asks for me by name and i have been hanging up and then do a phone trace.  Right now I plan on sending this to the Attorney General and try and get something done.  Shouldn't we have a prison just for these people ?

Childrens Cancer Recovery ----------- They called, and I finally answered, told them to mail me the information and I would CONSIDER donating, well I just got the info in the mail a couple of days ago, and now they are calling AGAIN!! Someone really needs to put an end to this annoyance of calls!!

I just a call from this number and the woman used my first name and asked for me. I said "this is she, who is calling". She acted like she didn't hear me and said "Hello". I repeated " who is calling?" and she hung up.

I had that funny feeling that intution gives you so I googled it and found out that this # is doing the same thing to alot of people.

They let it ring through to my answering machine and then say something like "Karen, are you there? Karen are you there? Next time I see the number I will request do not call status.

I get phone calls like this all the time. The answering machine takes care of the problem. If I don't know the number I don't pick up. My wife who worked for the telephone company told people all the time, you do not have to answer the phone and you can hang up anytime you want.  I don't make enough money now to give anyone a handout.

Called and asked for my husband by his first name.  On a Sunday night yet!  Probably figured people would be home at 7:30 in the evening.  Asking for donations for children with cancer.  How dumb do these people think we are?  Are these people for real?  If they would go about asking for money the right way perhaps more people would donate.

Got a call from them 1-23-14 at 8:20 am....did not answer,,,,thanks kim for info...will use that next time they call...i will answer and tell them what i think of them....to use a childs illness to get money,  really????? paybacks are not pleasant you stupid scammers....

Caller ID is Childrens Cance. A CELLPHONE. Charlotte, NC.  Called before 0800.  This is  Democratic / NAACP group supposedly funding and promoting abortion.  Has a very nice office in Charlotte.  Switched to cellphones a couple of years ago.  Doubt any money is spent for cancer prevention unless you count a few dollars a year to planned parenthood. PROBABLE ID THEFT/MEDICAID FRAUD

calls leave no message

It's a scam ( sort of ). A generic message asking you to donate ( and not taking no for an answer) to Women's Breast Cancer Support, Children's Cancer Recovery, Families of Fallen Firefighters...the list goes on. If you donate the only ones who will benefit are the "Charity" organizers. It's the same woman's voice for every charity. They couldn't even spend a little extra on more then 1 voice actress to help hide their blatant lies.

No one says anything and there is no message left

How do you get these calls to stop?
