This number called my house but left no message.  I tried to see who it belonged to and it come up on several sites as Number does not exist.  Must be an international number.

I just picked up the phone and did not speak. Eventually it hung up

I am so tired of getting calls like this, numerous times a day, various numbers on Caller ID.  It is evident that the "Do Not Call" registry is ineffective.  Another government program that wastes tax payer's money.  It's a shame that people are inundated with calls like this every day.   For a time, I would go to the "Do Not Call" registry site and report each and every number calling us.  After a year, I simply gave up.  I doubt very much that our reports are even reviewed or investigated.  It's out of control.  We leave our answering machine on all the time now, and we don't pick up the phone if the Caller ID shows; Unavailable, Out of Area or A name we are not familiar with.  Sad isn't it?
