Received call on my cellphone from female caller first time five days ago. She was trying to offer some sort of AT&T promotion. Politely interruped her to decline whatever it is and they politely backed off as well.
Today, received another call, let it went thru voicemail. No voicemail left.

989-220-3853, called at 6.53  12/13/13
210-255-3192, called at 9.52 11/27/13
321-244-8390, called at 10.18 11/15/13
caller id "ATT".  Am on the do not call registry.

Second time receiving this call from this number that shows up on caller ID as ATT. Trying to sell us a $100 modem to switch our internet service over to fiberoptic rather than DSL. They say they will email us the information, but no email has come.

Wanting me to sign up with A T & T for some special "service" that I have no need for.

1-989-220-3853 is ATT not A.T.& T.  In other words, they are fraudulent! DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION.  A.T. & T. confirmed yesterday that they are IN NO WAY affiliated with them.  

Whoever these people are, the also use the number 1-512-518-6962 and once people become aware of the 989 number they will probably switch it again........Be very careful.

Please do not accept 989-220-3853 it is a scam/fraud from ATTelecom some call marketers  this is not from AT&T telephone if you have receive the call please do not pick it up ignore it even leave a voice message the caller won't leave a msg it will hang up

I am so glad I double checked here. This company has been calling my number every day for the past THREE WEEKS. A message comes on first about the call being recorded and if you have any questions to call the AT&T customer service number. The number given in the recording is the legit AT&T customer service number. Someone comes on to explain that AT&T is going to fiber and will be changing the service. They want to schedule a technician to come to the home and install new modem. What is scary is they mention the correct amount I am being billed every month.  Then use the first year discount and the bill goes double afterward for the U-Verse internet and telephone service bundle. The installation charge of $199.00 will be waived. I have told them the product is a good but I do not have time to set around and schedule an installation. Told them for the forth time today about the calling every day so I will have to escalate to the customer service number to stop the very day calling. A woman has been calling and says Thank You and do not text and drive. The male on the other end just hung up on me.

I keep getting calls from this number with no one on the other end. Sometimes 3X per day. They're calling my work number, not my cell.

This number has been calling my business once every day for at least a week now. It is driving me nuts! Caller ID just says ATT. Every time I answer, there is no one on the line, and it hangs up. I tried calling back; it rings, and then hangs up. If anyone knows how to reach these people and end this nonsense I would appreciate it!

So I called AT&T to see if it was them trying to contact us. They said they had no record of the number on file, and that they had no information on why they would be trying to contact me. It is 100% a scam. Block this number if given the chance.

Multiple calls and hang ups on a work line.  I believe I answered once and got the "don't text and drive" statement.  What crap.

They start calling at 8 am and I get 3-4 calls a day. No one is ever there. If I block the number they just start calling from a new one.
How do I make them stop!!! I work nights! So not cool!
