i'm sure the # on my caller id has been routed through strange systems.
some guys probably from inda are claiming my computer is sending error messages. they want to help me.
they don't claim to be microsoft. they say something like Windows Open Support Enterprise.
they are hard to understand with the english - but they suggest i should go to some website that they will try to spell for me. which i also can't understand. it's pretty ridiculous and if i was able to do what they asked i would certainly be installing some hideous virus or malware / adware or something.

I just had a call from this number. Very heavy Indian accent, wanted to "fix" my computer. Yeah Right!! I told him to go Eff himself!

Continually calling me, not good since I am seeing patients every 20 minutes. Just short of harrassment

just got the same call. Did not answer. It's pretty bad when all this harassment does is make you want to discontinue having any type of phone service. I'm just about ready to shut mine off!

Me too. They called a few minutes ago.   This is not the first time they've called me.  Yes, very heavy India accent, lots of chatter in the background.  Tells me my computer is sending errors to the system and they are calling to help me.  I need to go to my computer so they can assist me through the process.   They hang up if you press them for information - - this time not before he informed me my computer would experience irreversible crash.

Heavy accent, claimed to be connected to Windows Operating System. I told her to drop dead and hung up.

Ditto what others have said.  Heavy accent.  Caller ID says "Tim Thomas"

Called 4 times today.  Unknown company.  When we answer the phone, they aren't there. "Ben" with "Microsoft" tried this tactic last week. Same number. Insisted on speaking with my elderly father, so that he could fix his Microsoft connectivity issues.

989-607-5889 called from this number then three more times from a blocked number to fix my computer. Not too worried about it since my phone has a trace on it for other unrelated concerns.

I told him to stop calling me that telemarketers suck and that he should kill himself. He called me two minutes later and started to leave a voice mail but hung up.

Set your answering machine to say this is a FAX machine after about 1 month all solicitors stop. Now watch what you use your email for. I got a call right after I downloaded a game on my phone from the app store. so I deleted the app. remember you give them permission to use your phone Pass this around.

have called several times told them i did not have computer first few. I decided to listen even with his heavy accent I could understand a few words. He did not have my given name but the name on our phone bill. I told him that was not me and I had no computer. He wanted to know about other family members. I told him I knew what a computer was and that my children had computers but did not live in this town. I asked where he was calling from and that I was calling sheriff. He hung up on me while I was still talking. Lets see if he calls back. Next time I plan to put him on hold and forget him while I bootup My kids suggested I have fun with them because I have plenty of time. My husband enjoyed listening to the conversation too.

Some yahoo with a very heavy Indian or Middle East accent tells me he's from Microsoft and he's noticed that I am having issues with my computer. I'm having no issues because I rarely use my computer anymore. I told him to never call me again but I get calls from him just about every day. I called my phone company and there's really nothing they can do except take down the report...

Gotten several calls from this number.  Shows up with name of Tim Thomas. I've never answered the calls and don't intend to.  Wish I could stop them.

I, too, have been getting calls from Tim Thomas, sometimes 4 a day.  Out of frustration, I answered only once, but no one was on the line.  Just as well!!  Just a tip!  If you HAPPEN to have your phone through Charter Communications, you can select up to 12 numbers to block!  I'd never tried it before, but you listen for the dial tone, then dial *60, and listen for (fast!) prompts to enter the unwanted number. If you go through another supplier, perhaps they have something along these lines!  We forget that we have options included with our phones these days!  Let's hope this works!  I'll give it a couple days and check back in!

Thomas Tim  also called me to help me fix my Windows Computer. I asked how he knew it needed repair. He said it was sending messages. Then I said  I don't have a "windows" computer. What kind do you have he asked. I thought for a minute and told him a Comodore 64. All he said was oh and hung up.

Called me yesterday and today.  Claimed they were with "Windows" and I had several problems with my computer.  Yesterday, I told the guy i didn't have a computer and he hung up.  Today a woman called me, and I tried to explain that I don't own a computer and that I am quite familiar with this particular scam.  She started screaming the "F" word at me and yelling "Why you waste my time?  F****, F****, F****, You, mister!"  and continued saying the "F" word over and over untill I hung up...
