I wish they would call my parents instead of me, I've given them my parents number multiple times...

I haven't picked up this time yet, but they keep calling and this time from a different number because I blocked the first one.  They called around the same time last year as well.  They are trying to get students to donate for some sort of Alumni fundraiser.   I'm a COLLEGE struggling to pay my own bills , I clearly don't have a bunch of money sitting around to donate to the school that i've already paid thousands of dollars to go to.

I graduated over 3 years ago and am still paying off student loans from this crap school. Wish someone would have told me the truth and changed plans. So barely getting by and now you guys want more money from me? Wasn't the outrageous tuition money enough????

It doesn't matter what school from which you graduated .  If you received an education you should still support the school---if only a couple of dollars.  We all have tough times and life but they provided an education so you have a job to pay for necessities.  Don't live beyond your means and you will succeed.

Students are routinely overcharged for education and often are encouraged to get degrees in fields which are not growing/hiring. These students PAID for an education it was not provided to them for free. Also, you are ASSUMING these people have jobs or that they have jobs in the field they have a degree in. You also ASSUME they are college graduates and not just randomly called numbers. Lol-little naive of you. I suppose it's hard to see the little people up there on your high horse but if you squint maybe you could see that some live within their means and still struggle for the basics. For these people success is having food on the table and the bills paid.

Don't live beyond your means so you can done to this fundraiser? I was pretty disappointed that I got a no message call at 9 pm from this number, that definitely doesn't make me fired up to give money to this fundraiser, mi d you, you don't know what other fundraisers we donate to so don't assume anything like that, that's pretty rude as well....

Now now, we don't know if Lakeview donates a large % of gross income to a favorite charity choice and just is in an obscure way trying to encourage everyone else to do with this one as he/she does with their favorite.  Because you can't tell someone to donate if you yourself are some greedy ungovi ng person to a charity, that's definitely not a person from CMU.....

I was called well after am appropriate hour and no message. No thanks not donating after those manners which should be better since you are asking for money for whatever reason.

Tried calling me twice and I didn't answer.. No message. I didn't even go to CMU..

No says anything once call is answered.

I got a call today from this number and was asked for a donation.  I gave my credit card number and a $60 donation to Central Michigan University.  I did not get a confirmation number.  I am wondering if this was a legitimate fund raising call.

I didn't go to CMU and I dont even live in MI! I grew up in St. Louis, but haven't lived there in almost 15 years.

I am on the   do not call list and should not get these telemarketers calls

Called twice in the last two days, no message.  Likely CMU looking for money
