They called at 7:30 am stating i had a problem with my windows computer.

I just got the same call, 11/3/14 7:53am.  As soon as I asked him where he got my number he hung up.

They called me at 6:43 am this morning 11/4/2014. Same schtick! They are obviously using a connector to a number in Bay City, MI, but they are calling internationally from India or Pakistan...

I got this call today around 1pm and my caller id reads a Henry Kanicki. He claimed that my windows 7 is compromising my hard drive with bugs and viruses from downloads. I had a ridiculous argument asking about who he is and where he's calling from. He couldn't give me the address of his company and accused me of accusing him that he is a robber trying to steal my computer information. Lol! I do like messing with these people. :)

They woke me up this morning, when calling me at 7:55 AM!!! I became very furious and wanted to tell them, if they are nuts, calling that early in the morning and many worse things... Unforunately I was to slow to pick up the phone in time :-(.
During the last days I got several such calls from the same number, as I thought first. Yesterday I answered one of the calls and a guy asked me, whether I speak English. I said "No" and thought they would finally stop calling. But they did not!!!
When investigating the case I realised, that i was called from different US phone numbers, but they belong all to the same guys. I could find each number by googeling it and for each number people report the same: a guy is calling who wishes to "repair" some faked up computer issues by remote connection.

I get calls from them daily.  Very pushy.  I just tell them that I will call Microsoft Help Desk when I have the time!  Or, if I really feel like playing with them, I tell them I don't even have a computer!  They honestly don't have much to say after I tell them that.  

Eric - with an Indian accent - said my pc was sending a MS 7 error to the main server. I siad goodbye and hung-up.

received call at 4:59 pm Henry Kanicki about a virus in my computer and that I needed to log on immediately to get the problem fixed before my computer crashed.  I told him I was having dinner.  Said that this needed to be done now.  He asked if he could call back in 30 min.  I replied I would not be available and disconnected the call.  He did speak with a heavy accent.

Henry G. Kanicki called this morning at 8AM asked who was the main user of my windows.  I told him I open and close them by myself.  He attempted to further the conversation abt. my windows on my computer.  Informed him I didn't have windows on my computer and he hung up in disgust.

My caller was named Edward from the same telephone #. They called once last night and once in the afternoon.
Very heavy Indian type of accent and very noisy background. Same story-- all kinds of bugs and viruses Trojans no less running around in my PC. Told them if they called again, I would report them to the FCC.

At 11PM, our caller was a female with a thick Indian accent pitching the same crap about my Windows blah, blah, blah,...
I must have dissappointed her, because SHE hung up on ME!

Called at 6:50 AM.  Told me that my windows computer had a virus that was sending out messages.  Thought I would play along and said "That sounds very serious.  What should I do about it".  He hesitated for a few seconds and said "Are you joking with me?".  I said "of course not, why would I do that".  He then hung up.

Rec'd call at 7 am yesterday; wasn't looking at my caller ID, and family member is gravely ill, so I thought it was THE call about a death.  He called himself Alex Stevenson and had my name and the license number of my computer.  Woke me from a dead sleep with same scenario as others describe but even though I was skeptical, I had not heard about this Microsoft scam and did log on to my computer.  He wanted to clean it for $122  and  that's when I hung up.  Unfortunately he was operating my computer remotely so I closed all my bank accounts.  Very unnerving.  I'm going off the grid.  Not worth risking everything I have to be on a computer unless it's for my job.

This number calls every day for the past couple weeks! I've picked up twice..both times getting the same "your computer is about to crash!" This morning he called at 6:47AM!!!!!! I, extremely irritated, calmly and nicely told him that it is 6:47 am and to remove me from the calling list, please. He started with the your computer is infected crap so I told him I was now recording this call and I would like to be removed from the called list, please. He started shouting and asking me if I do not care about my computer. I told him I have someone that takes care of my computer and to please remove my name from the calling list...he shouted that "this is not some minor problem for some small technician to take of" and asked yelled "do you not understand that" I did start recording call with my video on my iPhone and he suddenly and quietly said "good bye."
Next time they call I will record the entire thing and look into reporting them.

Got the same call at 7am today.  Told him where to go then hung up.

Caller ID read "Kanicki, G & H." I've had numerous calls from the same guy Whithorn an Indian accent. Two weeks ago he was calling from a New York, NY number. In the past I have "played along" or sometimes I've told him I hope he gets a real job someday, or started asking him stupid questions, at which time he started making really vulgar comments. Would love to get him to stop.
