I have received a Portal Claims caqll from 0845 555 0800. "Raising awareness about Missold Payment Protection Insurance". Aparently "based in Rochester, Kent".

Got a call today from a woman saying she was from Portal Claims and would I like to get my money on PPI that I was misold. Said that I haven't bought any PPI. Very condescending and stopped short of calling me stupid for "not wanting to get my money back"!!!. As previous people have said, If I was not happy I would approach a claims company myself and not rely on cold calling. They obviously don't care that they are interupting meetings etc and that this has the opposite effect and makes people turn against companies like this. Parasitic behaviour like this should be banned - seems to be very similar to ambulance chasing.
