    Hi Mon,

We look forward to meeting you during your preliminary interview on Wednesday 18th February 2009. We have reserved a meeting with one of our Managing Directors for at 14:40hrs. Please be sure you are dressed smart and have a printed copy of your CV with you so the manager has one during your interview.  When you arrive, please ask for April from Supreme corp. UK.

We anticipate Wednesday being busy due to the number of people currently looking for full time work in London, so please keep us informed if you are running late or unable to attend. We will do our best to contact you if we run into delays; however you should clear at least 30-45 minutes for the interview including any waiting time.

Our managing director will want to learn more about your background and your career goals, so please be prepared to discuss these.  He will also break down a more detailed job description, tell you more about the services we provide for our clients, and outline where you could fit in to our plans for 2009. Any specific questions you have about the role can be addresses with them.

We will not be making a final decision based on Wednesday's interview.  Some candidates will be invited back for a second, more thorough, interview where they will spend a full day with an experienced client representative.  This day is an evaluation of the candidate's work ethic, ability to recall information, and overall communication skills.  It is also very helpful for the candidate since they are given the opportunity to observe the role and educate themselves about our marketing system.  Once this full day interview is complete, we will look to make a mutual final decision.

We have included directions and a link to a map below. If you have any difficulties locating us, please do not hesitate to ring and we will navigate you. See you soon!

*** Feel free to visit our website for any further information www.supremecorp.co.uk ***

    Kind Regards,

    April Foxon

    Directions

The nearest underground station is Old Street Station which is on the Northern Line (King's Cross branch). Our office is really easy to find if you use exit #8. The main road you'll be on is City Road. There is a green line painted along the sidewalk.  Follow the green line up until it turns left for Moorefield's Eye Hospital. DO NOT TURN LEFT: Continue walking straight on City Road, past the Bavarian Beerhouse, and take the next left, which is Bath Street (it's at a set of traffic lights). We are the first set of blue double doors and you will see a plaque that says '1 Bath Street'. The door should be unlocked, so just push to enter and reception is straight ahead.

    Frequently Asked Interview Questions

How should I dress for the interview?

Please dress smart.  (We understand new comers to the business world may not have suits, in which case a shirt and tie is suitable for gents; while ladies can wear dress slacks or a skirt with a blouse or jumper.)

What should I bring with me?

We advise candidates to bring a printed copy of their cv, a short summary of their career goals, and a pen.  (We will ask all candidates to fill out an application form, so if you are unable to print your cv, don't panic)

How long will the interview last?

Our interview process is broken down into three stages.  The first (preliminary) interview will last approximately 10-20 minutes.  The goal of this interview is to meet candidates, introduce our business, and discuss the opening.  We also evaluate candidates' communication skills, level of confidence, and career goals.  A second, more thorough, interview involves the candidate observing the role first hand along with our evaluation of their work ethic, ability to multi-task and people skills.  The final interview is where we'll reach a final decision about the candidate's compatibility and confirm terms.

How many positions are you looking to fill?

There is no set number. At the moment we are working with national clients in need of exposure, therefore we do not wish to limit their growth, nor that of our company.  Throughout the recession we intend to provide work for recent graduates, career changers, redundancies and the like.

    When will the role commence?

The role is set for an immediate start.

    What are the salary/ benefits?

Details vary based on campaign, results, advancement, and responsibility.  On average, non-experienced new starts earn between £200- £500/ week.  As candidates advance and assume more responsibility they will continue to earn significantly more.  Specific questions regarding pay can be answered during your interview.

    What are the hours?

These also vary based on the campaign you are chosen for and the amount of advancement / responsibility to undertake.  They will be set during the interview process.

What type of experience/ degree is required?

Our clients require us to provide all candidates with full product training through workshops and in-house presentations, so no specific experience/ degree is required.  However, experience dealing with customers in retail sales, customer service, telesales or the like is beneficial.  Business related degrees often accelerate an individual's learning curve and comprehension.

I spoke to April Foxon of Supreme Corporation... IT IS A MASSIVE SCAM! Basically everyone gets an interview and then in the second round interview they make you do 9 hours unpaid door to door sales, then unpaid work for 5 weeks... only getting low paid commision. I didn't waste my time going to the interview, but know of others who have and regret it! Hope that helps...

There is another supposed company operating from the same London address calling itself "R & S Solutions" , currently carrying out interviews in Brighton. The preliminary interview followed exactly the same procedure mentioned in the Rip-Off Report. A sick trick at the moment when so many people are looking for work. Avoid.

I went for the interview today as well.  I decided that it wasn't for me, I want to get into the graphic design side of things and not do sales.  I will however say that they were very upfront in the interview and that there wereover 100 people working in the building.  Also, there client list was very impressive and included The British Red Cross and other reputable charities as well as the Carphone Warehouse.  It's funny in today's ecomony that commission only is viewed as a scam.  In my freelance graphic design roles I get paid commission as well, as do most sales agents in today's world.  I told the director about the negative press that they were receiving on this website and he seemed generally alarmed.  I urge others to go make an educated opinion on the company, but if you don't want to learn sales don't bother.  After reading this blog I was ready to go in guns blazing but was pleasantly suprised at the professionalism, although this is just one man's opinion.

After having discovered no website for ASPIRE, I decided to call them to ask a few further questions about the company and the type of role they were recruiting for.

The lady who answered the phone, answered simply with "Marketing". I asked for ASPIRE and she put me through. The line cut out. I called back again, and the same lady answered "Marketing". I asked to be put through to ASPIRE and was transferred.

During this transfer, somehow, another candidate had been put on my line, and when the lady from ASPIRE greeted me, the other candidate also said hi. After brief confusion by all of us as to what was happening, I decided to remain quiet on the line. The female candidate requested to speak to Peter, who she had initially received the call from regarding the interview.

Once she was transferred (with me) to Peter, it was great listening to him promote the company in the way he did, because it answered all of the questions that I needed answered. Usually when someone gives me all of that information in one hit, I completely miss the point of what they are saying, or more commonly, I'm nervous about not saying anything ridiculous to my potential employer. Listening from outside of the conversation this time, I realised the spin that was used as he explained the 'sales and marketing' role and the 'potential' for growth in the company.

The poor female candidate had to rearrange shifts at her current job to make herself available for the interview. I wanted to start speaking on the line to advise her otherwise, however, it would have sounded super creepy.

The spin on all of this is that the two times I phoned - the first being when the line cut out, and the second being when I was involved in this unusual phone call - I was trying to cancel my interview.

    Quite an unusual scenario.

I just got the job here, and I'm very excited about it.  I will let you guys know how it goes.  I will start by saying that some of you guys seem very angry about one of the few companies in the country offering jobs these days.  Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I was, in spite of the fact that there was entry level sales for a couple of months, very grateful that I found a company that wanted me to help them grow.  I have very high hopes about it, as I spoke to one of the managers there today that runs one of the companies that only started where I start tomorrow 6 1/2 months ago.

I've been working here for about a month now. It might be entry level sales on commission, but it certainly beats signing on every 2 weeks! Seems like there is scope for progression, I saw some guy get promoted to assistant manager yesterday and he's been in the company for less than a year!

I worked there for a week, i asked for paper work to prove what they told me was legit, but to no prevail. Some american dude came in to give us an inspirational talk, about getting hit by a car and still making sales in 10 metres of snow. Its an american company of manipulation and peasants.

Thank you guys for warning me, I also went to look at their website and found nothing. I called April and told her, the company was a scam; she passed it on to the manager who got scared of me. I told him I wanted a formal job not door to door! What a bunch of losers…
