I think this is a front company whose purpose is to obtain personal information (name & address) to give to credit collections companies.
The reason I think this is because this follows months of our frequently receiving calls to our home phone number by collections agencies harassing us trying to reach a family that formerly had the phone number which we switched to almost a year ago.

Got a call from this number this afternoon. Did not answer it, they did not leave a message, but when I went out to get the mail, noticed that there was a new telephone yellow pages in the driveway. Guess they are calling about the yellow pages.

Got a call too... answered but got nothing. just hanged up.

Got this call -- answered it because my mom is waiting for a phone call from someone (have to answer all calls today).  I used our last name when answering "____residence, ___ speakiing"  Lady said "oh I was looking for ___" (happened to be my name, weird because I use my cell phone instead of our home number for everyone) I said "this is she"  then the phone went dead so I tried to call it back but it says "mailbox full" and there is no answer.  So I googled it and got this web page.  Very strange.

Received the same call as others, added number to my call blocking list using *60

I am so tired of this. This is the fourth time I have had to chase an employee of PDC out of our building. They simply squirm their way past security and start randomly dropping bundles of phone books at random doorways. Hello! Some of these units are vacant. I am so sick of picking up after these people delivering stuff that nobody wants. GET OUT OF HERE!

Let's outlaw phonebooks as part of our new environmental approach to life in the U-S-A.  I have received two sets in the past month.  The latest has been on my front porch for more than a week. Waiting for me to recycle 'em.

For the first set I did receive a phone call alerting me to the fact that I should be pleased to have received the latest edition.  What?  I have a bookshelf for 10 volumes of phone book?

Yellow pages calling to verify we got their book.

PDC does not leave the survey questions on an answering machine. The Federal Do-Not-Call legislation does not apply to organizations that are not soliciting (selling or marketing something). PDC is not soliciting.

PDC uses delivery verification through phone calls because of the cost and quality of this quality control method. This type of quality control process is done by all the major companies in the distribution of telephone directories. Having said this, PDC is aware and respects that there are individuals that would not like to be part of this type of survey. As a result, PDC has created its own internal Do-No-Call list. I would like to reiterate that delivery verification calling is a quality control standard in our industry and that each company that does this type of quality control is responsible for their own list. As such, even though PDC will no longer contact all numbers that are requested to be on our DoNoCall list, you may be contacted by others that do not have this capability.

recieved call from this number this afternoon. no one on the line. picked up, and heard a click.

Received a serise of calls from 1-303-280-8689, but no one was there when I answered the phone.  I am on the "no call list."

They called mid-afternoon. I didn't recognize the caller ID, so I answered, said, "Hello, this is Brandon. May I ask who's calling?" Then, I heard the usual clicks, and then nothing.

Calls several times a day
