I had a charge on my credit card from the owners of this number that I did not make.  My credit card company said it possibly was a book company.  When I called the number, all I got was that the voice box was full.

I too was charged fraudulently in Feb 2008 by someone with this number, my credit card info displays "ELECTRONIC BUSINESS RE 4129270410 PA".  The merchant category is "Book Stores".
The next day on the same card was another fraudulent charge, by someone with phone number 8664730754 .  Watch out for more fraudulent charges.  If it worked once, they'll try it again.

I had 2 fraudulent charges of $4.95 ea..called my bank and reported it as FRAUD and cancelled the card..  after calling and e-mailing.. this is what I got..

Are you sure that nobody but you has access to your credit card information(name and number)? You see, if your card was charged and you didn't know about that somebody does have your card information and can use it. Please check it.

We have already removed the charge you reported. The refund will be stated in your account within two or three business days.

Nevertheless I strongly recommend you to call your bank and ask them to issue another card for you. Because if your card was once charged without your notification there's no guarantee that the person having access to the CC information wouldn't use it again.

It is also possible that some banking error occurred and your card was charged by mistake. If there are no other unidentified charges in your card that is the most probable variant. But still please call them and talk it over.

I got a fraudulent charge of $2.95 from Electronic Business RE 4129270410 about three months ago. I reported it to my credit card company and was reimbursed.
Now I have a second fraudulent charge from the same entity for $4.95.
Called the 412 # and got the full mailbox message.

Just got hit on my card last night but the date of the charge is 3-14-2008 called the number that my cc gave me and all I got was voice mail and e-mail address.  Canceled card and cc will issue another card later.

Best thing to do when this happens even with bank (checking accounts) is to cancel the card and issue a new account number.... Believe me I know I use to work for a collection agency... I know what to do now.

Same here was hit twice.

My debit card had unauthorized charged of 6.95 from this number. I don't use this card for e-business or e buying transaction. This is a fraud.

I had a charge on my account I did not make, my bank has the tel #401-781-5650 listed as the contact # for the charge, this # just goes to voice mail, this is FRAUD!!!

Got the call and then a $4.95 charge to bank card.

I do not know how long I have been charged $4.95 fraudulently.  I have called from the time I realized this was happening, to cancel the charges since December 2007. Each time I call the answering machine says the mail box is full.  the name listed on my account charge is Electronic Business RES 412-927-0410.  I called my bank and had to cancel my visa debit card and be reissued a new card number.  they were familiar with this fraud ring.  Apparently the goal is to charge a low amount so that people will not call to report it.

I sent the following email to support@ebsbooks.com and also filed formal fraud charges on this company through my bank.  I suggest you cancel your card immediately and file like charges with your bank.

Your company has fradulently charges my visa debit card $4.95 without my permission for an undisclosed amoumt of time.  I called the number listed on my checking account register 412.927.0410 Electronic Business RES.  I have called since December and each time I call the mailbox says it is full.  I finally did a reverse search of this number on the below listed website, where hundreds of msgs were left regarding the same type of fraudulent charges to their accounts from the same company.

I also reported your company to my bank and filed fraud charges.  Below in blue writing is what appears to be a response from your company's legal representation.  Having years of experience with the legal world, it is very obvious that this lawyer is either bogus or received his degree online.  NO lawyer starts a sentence with "I guess I should explain everything to you..." and "...I ahve a very important question for you...".  the fact that your voicemail is full everytime any one of hundreds of your fraud victims calls, tells us that you are not a reputable company selling online books.  Rather a fraud ring preying on people.  

Formal fraud charges have been filed against your company through my back.

I had a fraudulent call on my card.  I cancelled my card and had another reissueed.

Bogus charges here too what is the link between all of us? anyone shop at these merchants before the charges? I use this card very rairly and it has never been misplaced or lost. Post if any of this matchs, I would like to find who breached our trust.
