called and said nothing.  i usually hang up if no one replys after saying hello twice. this usually means they its tryin to connect to someone thats a telemarkter.

will put an ad on the intenet for our business at no cost to us

Called 2X over the last two days and left no message.  Tried to call back and was stuck in voice mail jail.  UNable to get any identifying info.

Was on the phone and I let the call go to voice mail.  No message left.  If it's for advertising like mentioned above, they can go somewhere else.

Heavily-accented caller said they were rm "Maryland Zip" and were going to "feature my business" on their website.

This number shows up repeatedly.  Every time we answer, the call disconnects just as or at the end of our greeting.  Who is this

This company needs to stop calling!

The called & hung up.  I'm big on reporting to the DNC center (not that they do anything), so I called them & asked who was calling.  They said it was "Big City Yellow pages"  Googled them & no sch company exists.

Got a call from someone wanting to "verify our business info" for a listing on Google.  Yeah, right.  I went through all of our business contact information, hung up, and then looked the # up on the internet.  Should have looked it up first.  I called back and got someone named James on the line. He told me that the name of the company was Zip Web and that the customer service agent should have offered a listing for 30 day free trial period and then a 49.95 fee for every month after that.  I told him that his "customer service agent" offered me no such thing, that he only told me that he wanted to verify our business contact info.  He said that was an error on the agent's part and for me to call back in 5 days to see if we were added and to cancel it.  I'll call back in 5 days and post again as to what happens.

called twice today, and both times we answered, we received a dial tone.  I called back and James answered the phone.  He said his company was called ZIP WEB, and they are a online marketing company.  I had to give him my number and told him to remove me from their list

Scumbags call every week.  I called them back and told them to remove my number last week and got another call today.  They are scum

Several calls per day, 1 ring, then a hangup.

They just started to call me this week - evey day a few times a day. I keep hanging up on them.  They are calling a residence.

I let the answering machine take the call.  Caller ID showed "Out of Area."  No message left.  Reported it to the Do Not Call List.  Does that ever do any good?

We never answer calls which caller ID shows as Out of Area, Blocked, or similar ID.  One would think when their calls are never answered that we do not answer calls with no caller ID displayed.

Never answering Out of Area calls saves us aggravation during political campaigns too.

They called my business wanting to verify my company information for a free feature on Google.  I told them I would not verify any info, until I've looked at their site.  The woman said the company was zipweb.com.

They call all of our business lines and hang up as soon as we answer. This happens several times a day.  We do not have Caller ID, so I used *69 to figure out who is hanging up on us all the time, and each of our busines lines reports the caller 800-793-7141.

They have called 2-3 times per day & never leave a message.  We never answer any TOLL FREE CALLS.  We are not interested in your services especially after reading everyone's comments about zipweb.  Please stop calling, you are a nuisance.  We are part of the do not call list & have already reported this number to it.

Called twice yesterday (3/28/08) first time they called they asked if this was "...." I told them it might be, she proceeded to mention something about Google, told her not interested and hung up on her.  They then called back later on in the afternoon, asked for the owner or operator said they wasn't in and again told them whatever your selling we are not interested and hung up on them again.
