I just called this number back after getting tons of calls from them.  They are a professional firm who calls for donations for colleges and health care groups.

Since it is a toll free number, I called them back after getting their call their no message call.  A mechanical voice answered and said they are Direct Line Technology and said they solicit donations for colleges and health organizations.  They offered to remove your number from number from their call list, but after 30 days.  One wonders what they will do with your phone number before 30 days.  Sell it to another buyer and spread it around?

866-390-6364 is for college fund solicitations.

I called the phone number in the preceding post & left a message to remove our phone number from their mailing list or I would report them and further spread her direct number to other internet sites.

1-866-390-6364 is Direct Technologies. They are a soliciation company out of Tulsa who makes calls for alumni organizations. They never leave messages, just return the call and tell them to put you on a no call list

Repeated calls.  We just usually ignore them but I answered tonight.  Calling on behalf of the Texas Tech Alumi.  I had told them before to stop calling but still they do.  Call about the same time every night.  

Got a call tonight and told the lady to take me off the list.  She proceded to go on about something about bothering me yada, yada, the next sound was me hanging up the phone.

Not five minutes later a guy calls..."Unbelievable" was all I could say.  Told him to take me off the list.  "Do you permanantly want to be removed?"  What an asanine question.

Easiest way to get off the call list:

For faster processing dial 703-637-9245 from the phone whose number you would like placed on the Do Not Call List and your request (based on Caller ID) typically will be automatically processed at 3:00 AM Pacific Standard Timethe next day.

The most annoying thing is they call everyday asking for donations to my colleges alumni association. I still owe $25,000 in student loans there is no way I'm donating more!!!

They called me to solicit funds from a Foundation (that I happen to belong to), Turns out the foundation list was stolen. It is a scam.

They typically call here at least once each day with no message.  Seeing the toll-free number, I let the answering machine handle it.  Today, they broke their record for frequent phone calls by calling us four times in 45 minutes.  High irritated, I picked up the fourth time to be informed that they were collecting for the USF alumni organization.  I demanded to be removed from their hit list.

Calling the 703-637-9245 number you suggested was an easy way to get on their DO NOT CALL LIST.

It's actually from a company called Bernard C. Harris Publishing Company.  They publish directories for alumni associations, fraternal groups, professional organizations, etc.  The product they produce is really nice but very pricy and yes, they hound you to death to try to "confirm" your information.  It's really a sales call.
