Automated call received from 000 at 12:27pm on 3/10/13. PPI related. Offers only option "3" to say I want to claim my PPI compensation. Call ends when '"3" chosen. I have no PPI and am TPS registered. Logged with ICO as a nuisance automated call.

Pre-recorded message telling me I haven't claimed my government-subsidised free boiler, and to press 2 to speak to an operator. I'd rather stick pins in my eyes.

'0000000000000' calls are simply international numbers. That's all! Most BT overseas calls will register as 'number unavailable' on displays or as 'We do not have the caller's number to return the call' on 1471 UK. BUT NOT ALL. Occasionally it'll be a string of zeros.

In the case of those of you who had silent calls, that's 'block dialling'. Many numbers with the same CODE are dialled simultaneously, and only the first to pick up the phone is actually spoken to: the rest just hear a hang-up. It's a way for SALES and SURVEY companies to waste less time by dialling individual numbers. It's illegal inside the UK, but it's done from abroad.

Fed up with calls from 000, I now keep ignoring them.

Fed up with people not using valid phone numbers as the source. No message left, didn't answer. Idiots.

This is not an "0000000000000" call, it's an "000" call. There is a difference.

Every other day we get a call on our mobile from either '0' or '000'.  Have never answered and they never leave a message but it is getting very annoying.  We also get calls from 'Unknown'.

I get calls mostly from some indian dude claiming to be from Microsoft,  this morning i got a call from them from a unknown number i just blew a referee whistle i got for this problems and i put the phone down, but i have now about 9 hours later gotten a call from 000 number i have also received calls from 00000 numbers and just random crazy numbers that are not from here! Pick up and they put down but i have read that these numbers that call is kinda to see if the number exist if you do pick up this will tell them there is someone on the other side of the so they can call them which means waiting on more scam calls...

We get daily international calls from this and similar numbers. They leave automated messages about government grants for boilers which tie up the landline until they're finished. Today I managed to press the right button to speak to an operator, and he claimed I had 'opted in' to it and it was 'market research'. Just after he asked me if I wanted a boiler. When I told them I wanted off their lists and I was TPS registered, he said '...so, you DON'T want a boiler?' then hung up after I told him again I didn't want any more calls.

The idiocy, it burns.

Called today again by 000. Recorded message said to press option 2 to make a booking so I selected it in order to speak to someone - very pleasant geordie accented man answered "how are you today etc & you want to make an appointment?" When told "No I had pressed 2 to get my number removed from their database as registered with TPS" the whole tone of the caller changed - launched into a long spiel about boiler replacement. I tried to interupt politely saying "excuse me but...."  and was told "shut up do not interupt, wait until I have finished!!" I persisted & said not to be so rude. Same reply and conversation ended with him cutting me off after his final parting shot of "p*** o** stupid cow". Nice!!! I had a good laugh about it with my family but am really concerned that this tactic is really frightening for those not as robust as me, like my 83 year old father or teenage daughter.

Just received a call from "000". Recorded message about me "needing" a new boiler by 2016, or something, and I should press "2". Naturally, I didn't. They actually phoned me yesterday as well, same message, but 1471 didn't have the caller's number.

Same clowns who dial on 00310 and 00390, recorded voice tells me I haven't had my free loft insulation install. As if I would be daft enough to call 000 back to initiate that? Idiots.

Asian guy called saying he was from "the solicitors" when I hung up.

HI, this is the first time I have ever seen the 000 number, it called today 9.28, but I have bt blocker phone, so of course unless they announce through bt guardian and I accept, there's no way for them to get through to me. but they didn't do the bt guardian. what tells me its nothing of importance, but still its quite freaky, as I read somewhere else, it was some freaky automated woman saying goodbye, but I did read up about this 000 number is it's supposedly Australia emergency services... as someone said when they diaed that number they got through to it, when after waiting awhile it says goodbye, but its not recommended that you dial it,

if anyone else has got a call from this number "000" today or recently, i'd to know what happened.

000 000 0000 calls and calls finally answered was a person telling me I need to hurry as it's my last chance to buy an extended warranty for my chevy Malibu 3LT. told caller he's very mistaken my car is a 2015 with onpy1,500 miles of a 100,000 mile extended warranty he hung up LOL

Received numerous calls from number starting 000. No response when I picked up receiver so hung up each time.

Somone  phones me and on the voicemail he put a 'essage hello you will conected with your party
