I had a call today from what sounded like an Indian call centre telling me that there was a problem with my windows.

As I had a bit of time I decided to play along with the caller. I let him speal about a virus that may cause my windows to crash. So I said does this effect UPVC windows. To which he replied he did not understand what UPVC windows were. I said that I had some UPVC windows in my house, would these get the virus?

He was still confused & kept repeating that this was Windows on my computor. When I then said I did not have a computor & was refering to my double glazing windows he quickly put the phone down. Any way it wasted about 5 mins of his time and the cost of the call from India.

Same thing here. ANY BODY GOT A CLUE who they are SO I CAN FIND THE WEBSITE AND CRASH IT??? I'm IT security, give me a web address, I can shut them down for a day - maybe do a major fubar on it if I'm lucky

I got a call from the number about 4am , on Dec.5, 2013, and after searching Yahoo I found who called:

Called 14:44 today asking for my late father (his middle initial as surname!) re PPI but he died 4 years ago.

Neat trick showing this number.

Clearly from overseas with a very very old contact list.

Please do not respond to callers numbers 0000000000000000. Probably pc scam. Once you speak they get your tel details and your pc will be hacked. Better not to answer phone at all. Ring 1471 to check ALL incoming calls.  

Got A Call From The Number 000000000000000 Today It Said: I Murdered 20 People.

Had calls from this number several times recently.
Sometimes to say there is something wrong with my computer; other times asking if I had a car accident recently.  All well known scams.
What is worrying is that they have my 'phone number; ask for me by name; and try to confirm my email address.
Scary.  Who are they?
